BOBRAZ

For 1B, I got the kinky curly closure from Senghori Shells after reading the bobraz thread on BHM.

I ran out of time after I installed this hair so it only got misted in the shower before I had to go to the airport.

Next day once I got to my room- it held up very well

Close-up of the closure (It's more wavy than curly but it blends. Anyone tried other ones?)

I co-wash every day except when I DC, detangle in the shower & go

I LOVE this hair! It was trial & error but I finally have the look I was going for with this weave.

Hi all, my first post (I have lurked here forever) and I've got a question!

I was wondering whether anyone has used Bobraz for microtwists. I've seen posts here and on BHM where people have indicated they used Bohyme Brazilian for microbraids with good results but couldn't find anything on twists. I really do like the look of this hair!

My idea is to use 14 inch hair, start with a braid, continue with a twist until a little after my hair ends (my hair is 4b, 6-9 inches) and then leave the rest out. I'm wondering how that style might hold up, whether it would unravel alot etc.; I don't want to use glue at the end or anything like that. I'm hoping that once I wet it and it curls up it will behave like my kinky extension hair does (currently wearing Mambo hair from Hair Shack).

I WAS thinking about trying my first weave, but I'm scared and since I've recently learned how to self install twists (I'm not great-just good enough for me :)) I am loathe to go right back to placing my hair in someone else's hands. Any advice would be appreciated!

Getting this hair installed tomorrow. I have 14" inch of 1b and 14" of 33, need it to blend in henna color of my leave out. My 1b is a 1b. It definately doesn't look like a 2. Maybe they've adjusted their colors. My bss had a color swatch thingy for bohyme so that helped.

just purchased my bobraz in a #2 12 inches. it was way too light for my henna'd hair so i dyed it in 3 different shades of dark auburn. i sent it off to missbossy to make me a half wig. i will post pics when i get it. this will be my PS during the summer..i am bored with my twists and bunning it during the day.

i think twisting with this hair would be really nice...from what i've read bohyme is really generous with their lengths so 14 inches really ends at 16 inches BUT i dont know how short it would be once you cut the wefts off and section it off to twist~you may want to get 16 inches (or 20 inches-if you can find it)so that when it is twisted in it could possibly fall btwn 12-14 inches

I looove this hair. I purchased it last year (2 packs 12in)for the summer and wore the same hair for two 12 week installs. I am wearing the same hair now for the third time and it still looks good. However it is tangling more and I know this will be the last time I will be able to wear this hair. definitely got my money's worth. :yep: I want to be able to find a CV that can dupe this particular texture so that I can save some $$$

This hair is fabulous. Had it in for a couple days and LOVE it. I don't have to do much blend. I can actully wash and go with it. Bought herbal essences totally twisted mouse and it works great with it. Mine does puff up or become bigger through out the day. No tangling. Very little shedding. Very easy to maintain. I used 1.5 packs maybe a little less. Couldn't be happier.

I think I am getting this hair real soon. They sell it at the BSS around the corner from my house which is great. It's like 89.00 a pack. I am hoping I can get away with one pack. Does anybody know how much shrinkage the 12 inch gets when it is wet?

You've seen me with this hair in before Marie. When wet the water weighs down the hair but when it dries it shrinks up. Once dry the 12 is between chin and shoulder on me. It kind of grazes the shoulder. The 14 fell to about APL. However that can change based on product and styling technique. The curly primer method makes it curl and shrink more. My 20 inches ended up being like BSL when I did curly primer. It will continue to draw up as it dries. Stretched it was down to my butt.

I wore it for 9 weeks. Loved it, But was not able to re-wear. By the 8th week it was done. but would definately buy again. So pretty so soft. O by the way, Herbal Essences totally twisted mousse (purple can) works great on this hair. Mine never got too big or unruly.
