Babies on TV and Hair Extensions

This foolishness has now spread to tv. :perplexed
This is a German Soap.
She loves her pacifier.

This is the baby's hair this month.
Notice the fused together tips and the wrap around roots

I will say that I have literally seen worse, at least they are not micros or a weave or a relaxer at her young age.... I've seen all of them done before. I put box braids with extensions in my 6 year old nieces hair last summer because she lives so far away and no one takes care of her hair. IF and/or WHEN someone finally decides to detangle or brushe her hair, they tear through it and that was the only style that would last between the lengths of our visits, she got a tremendous amount of growth and of course as soon as i took them out, her mom put a relaxer in her damn hair:nono:... I cornrowed her hair once and they left it for almost 4 weeks. It looked sooo bad because they wash it and dont tie it up for her to sleep so it gets fuzzy and lint and matted... On another note and back on topic, who is the very cute little girl? and why is she with a different person in each picture?

This is a German Soap Opera.

Father is from Camaroon and was in Germany illegally while trying to seek medical treatment for his wife, baby's mother, who ended up dying.
While he was in jail for being in Germany illegally Lilly was placed in foster care until he (and she) could be deported.

The foster parents are white (Ollie and Christian). The people holding her are Christian (foster parent), Ollie (foster parent), his aunt, and their roommate.

This baby is non-verbal and can barely walk. What is the point of putting braids in a baby's hair?

This is a German Soap Opera.
They are her foster parents, foster aunt, and the foster parents flat share roommate who was baby-sitting.
 
Cute baby. She is too young to have that heavy weave pulling on her young hair follicles. My question is, what was wrong with her hair before? I highly doubt that they would have given a short haired white baby (or any other non-kinky haired child) hair extensions.

I can't see her eyes well in these pics, but even if they were blue, they don't necessarily have to be contacts. My eight year old sister has blue eyes and we're as Nigerian as can be :yep:

Yep... it's that recessive gene. I took dance classes with a dark dark skinned black girl with blue eyes. She used to freak the younger kids out.
 
Well I was kidding about the contacts-- since they put extensions on a baby they may have thrown contacts in the deal too--. I hope they wouldn't put contacts on a baby--. Besides, I know dark skinned black people w/light eyes (blue, green, or what have you), so no surprise there.
