I probably know the answer to this, but I'm spazzing as time is running out. Plus, I'm at work, trying to hurry and type this so I can get back to work.

Discovered at the nape of my neck my hair is shoulder length...S T R E T C H E D. I want some hangage this Saturday; going to be out with my honey and his fam, with a bomb diggity dress and I just want to hang for at least half of the day WITHOUT straightening my hair.

Any suggestions on a product I can use to achieve it? I've got Neutrogena leave-in, Sally's answer to Paul Mitchell's leave in and neither of them are the answer. After I co-wash and put that stuff in . . . swoop, hair looks shorter than ear-length, LOL

HELLP. TIA, ladies.

I'm guessing you are natural?...if so you could use a gel or some heavy product to add weight. Also try methods of stretching the hair without heat. Like banding.

After you co-wash your hair, try putting it in a pineapple on the top of your head. If your hair too short for a pineapple, try 2-3 loose ponytails to stretch the curls a bit.

Make sure you apply your moisturizer and seal before you ponytail, so your curls can set.

Take the ponytails out when your hair is dry and that's it. Apply some oil to your hair if it looks dry.

YES . . . I had forgotten about banding due to experiencing a bc last April. By jove, that's it.

Thanks ladies.
