I do see what curl you're talking about Peculiar, though, which is why later I thought you were a 3b/c since the majority didn't look that way when it was down. But like I said, I don't even know! I am so confused now.

Its okay, I find it quite amusing ((..Laughing..)). Every other picture it's either wet or contains product... The one with the pencil curl was just oil if I'm not mistaken :/ might of been some right on in there if anything :/ aww heck dont worry when I do post a picture you won't be confused anymore ​

I definitely didn't have any intentions of discounting anyone or accusing anyone of being dishonest... I was just genuinely confused because the "3c" hair I have in my head don't look NOTHIN like wavezandcurlz and seemed slighlty tigher than yours. But now that I know it was wet, it definitely makes more sense!

liljoy I think you're a 3B but its hard to say since you're showing pictures of your bleached hair. Bleaching your hair sometimes gives you loose curls. Either way your hair is very pretty

@kblc06, I've mostly seen your hair in that limp wavy state you describe that occurs when you have product. Looks like a bit like @wavezncurlz's siggy pic. I was gonna pull an @Irresistible and say you're both Type 2. (Sorry Ms "Nonie you're 3C" but I couldn't resist ) But I already told y'all I know nuffin about 3's so I ono what I'm doing in this thread.

Yes, I did not really take pictures of my hair completely dry, I only have one which is the one I showed you but then it still has oils so that's still a cheating picture, ((..Laughing..)) I did not intend to confuse you or fool you in any way, ((..Laughing..)) Then the picture in the orange has products in it.

I wish my hair had that BLIND YOU shine, but it doesn't. I had to search to find out what hair type I was last year. Though I run across 3C's with shiny hair and I'm like WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?!!!

Your wash and Go is great, what products do you use for that look??

Once a week:

Shampoo (sulfate free), lathering up twice.

Put on conditioner/deep conditioner, detangle, use thermal heating wrap for 30 mins or so.

If I'm wearing my hair curly, I like curl junkie aloe fix, aloe fix lite, or kinky curly curling custard. I also cowash using a cone free condish after about 3 days, and then restyle my hair in the same way.

If I'm braiding or twisting, I use a hair cream and I've been sealing with sunflower oil.

During the week, I oil my hair with monoi de tahiti or regular ole coconut oil.

I'm using cassia obovata/amla once a month, and a protein treatment when needed. I ALWAYS do a protein treatment before flatironing, which I do a few times a year and then I get a trim at this time.

I have a lot of different products but my regimen is pretty simple.

Thank you so much! Yes, I definitely have that "fooled you hair" It shrinks up a lot Even when I am Hip Length my curls probably wont fall any longer than APL dry, and with product I would say BSB or BSL if I am LUCKY!

Hey, welcome, I would say u are a 3a cause ur curls on the picture looks kind of loose, but then again don't take my word for it I was confused myself about my own hair being 3c, lol, but maybe some of the other girls with a master in hair typing might be able to help u, so far I only have a certificate in the area if that lmao.

I am getting so confused on this hair typing thing nowadays. Most of the pics in this thread don't look don't look 3C to me according to some of the latest stuff I have been reading. I think I am 3C/4A mixed now which I use to think I was 4A.
