Awesome! I need to get into PS other than putting my hair in a bun. Did you braid/twist your hair yourself? If so, How did you learn?

Thank you. I've been twisting/braiding my own hair for a long time. I learned from watching my aunt when I was 13 and just practicing on dolls and stuff. It takes your fingers a while to get used to but it's like riding a bike.

Very pretty twists!! So you protective styled everyday this past year? I wish I had the attention span for it :lachen:.

Your hair looks great and your styles are really nice. I wish I had the patience and dedication to do PS for a whole year solid. I'm far too lazy though.

Thanks for posting this!!! So many styling ideas for when my hair gets longer!
ITA. I can't wait for my hair to get at least 6" to 8" long. I was thinking about what type of protective styling I could do.

OP, your pictures and styles were so breath-taking that I didn't realize I was holding my breath 'til I saw the last one.

BEAUTIFUL job and BEAUTIFUL, thick hair.

I'm subscribing to this thread so it's immediately available when I need to see some inspiration!

Your hair looks great!!! I love PS, but I always wear the same one! Your photos are inspiring and opening my eyes to other creative styles!!

I like every single style you posted, very creative! You can earn some extra change doing natural styles on women!

Chile, for a minute I thought you were Taraji P. Henson, I was bout to say, Hooo, we have a star in our midst! Lolll!

I'm impressed OP. Good job. I am subscribing to this so I'll have hairstyles to reference for my transitioning daughter.

VERY NICE and I LOVE that you actually have "LOTS" of pics!!!! :yep:
(some folks start threads saying lots of pics and post 5 or less )

WOW......... all these styles look easy/simple to do, thanks for the inspiration OP simple protective styles are in my future for 2011.:afro:

Thanks for posting this OP! I was getting in a hair rut and sick of doing plain old twists/braids. There are some cute workout styles in there too.
