Mine likes it....He says he feels like he's with a celebrity when we go out cause I'm always wearing something different. He likes my natural hair too tho
 
my SO loves my wig, but at the same time, i'm not sure that he knows that it is a wig. i wear a silk top lace front in kinky straight texture. i have never let him see my hair (outside of the occasional bun) and I don't plan to wear my hair around anyone until it gets longer and healthier. the only time i have had a SO have a complaint about my wigs is when i have gone from my hair to the wig and let them see the difference. i think men have a problem with hair that they know is fake, is unnatural looking and/or looks bad. men usually don't have a problem when the hair looks bomb.com and they have no idea that the hair is a weave/wig etc. at any rate, people who don't contribute to my hair fund are not allowed to have an opinion about my hair or my embellishments lol

This is true! My SO dosnt care what's in my head.. as long as its attractive and natural looking he's content.

One if my guy friends prefer women with long hair even if its a weave just as long as he can't tell its a weave. I think that rge point of a weave is to enhance your natural hair.. like makeup ... if you don't have the correct foundation color people will SEE and KNOW you have ob makeup when it should blend with your skin and remain natural and hidden

Mine doesn't like the wigs, but he's deals with it b/c he knows that I have long hair underneath. I also only wear half wigs that match my color and texture perfectly and are around the same length of my real hair so that no one can tell it's a wig unless I tell them. I even had my parents fooled. Also to appease him at home, I'll usually wear my older (gym) wigs. I also try to transition every two months--so for two months, I'll wear beehive cornrows with a wig, then the next two I'll PS with rollersets or braidouts. I mostly do this for myself though b/c I have hid my hair for too long so I need to enjoy it out sometimes too! It was so bad that my guy didn't even see my real hair until we were together for one and a half years. Plus, I love the compliments when I wear it out. Corny I know, but it's rare to see a non-mixed black girl with long hair around these parts, so I feel like it makes me special. But I also wear it out for him, as well, b/c he likes to be able to pull on it during coloring sessions every once in a while ;-)
 
Yup, my man cant stand my wigs lol but i explained to him my reasoning for wearing them....so i guess he gets it now, if not then idk what to say lol.
 
My DH likes my wigs and purchases them for me. He selects the ones he likes and I select the ones I like. He says he doesn't see a problem with it. At any given day I can take my wigs off and wear my own hair and he loves that too!

Wow! Ur a lucky woman lol...

Once i explained to SO why i wear them he just wants me to switch them up often..length, texture, color lol.

Mine knows I love variety of styling options and after I Cut it all off last time, he made me promise to never do it again. Most of the time I wear my short wigs and he is glad I can remove it at the end of it all and my hair still exist.

The first time I wore a short wig, I went out of town came back and he was like :blush::blush::blush::blush::blush:
Asked me "Why'd you do that"
I took it off and it was like :spinning: whew
I thought you cut your hair again. LOL

But he also says he likes the fact that my LF and Wigs look natural and not like a Helmet as he put it. He says they are more natural looking, and compliment my features, not overly shiney.

I am lmao @ the bolded lol.

I bought my first short wig a couple weeks ago and i love it...its a cute bob style, nape length in the back and chin length on the sides.
 
My DH says he doesn't mind (though I'll admit, he tends to agree with me a lot :lachen:). I've asked him what he thinks of my wigs and he said he knows I only wear them to protect my real hair :grin: I also make a point to wear my own hair regularly enough so he doesn't get used to seeing me in wigs ONLY.
 
my man has an issue with wigs, weaves, braids w/ extensions...anything not my hair its a problem. "Yo, u natural I love that y u gotta cover that up wit wigs" He speaks of wigs like I'm smearing feces in my hair. Happy to say that he has shut up about it because its my head and my choice and I made that very clear. IRL he may go but the wigs are forever.
 
My SO loves to go wig shopping. He knew I was on a tight budget and he can't stand the synthetic shiny ones so he said he would pay as ling as I got a lace front or something human. I loved that he was so understanding but I wasn't ready for a wig yet. I didn't like any that I saw. He likes that I'm on my hhj and he doesn't knock my pj'ism. Even tho I'm supposed to be saving for our vacation in Florida lol...
