my boyfriend doesn't like that i wear wigs, so i don't wear them around him much. i wouldn't keep it on in intimate moments anyway :giggle:
 
Yea mine hates it.... but guess what... he would hate my hair even more if i was bald headed ~shrug~

He'll get over it
 
Well, it's better than seeing me in Celie braids or a beehive of cornrows. He copes with it, but he's very happy when my hair is out on rare occasions.
 
Yes he hates mines. And when we fight, he does snatch it off lol. But i laugh at his antics cause I know Im on a mission and so far, so good. My hair is growing wonderfully and healthy under my wig and he knows it so it doesn't phase me one bit.
 
My boyfriend HATES wigs, weaves, extensions, pieces.. whatever you want to call them he HATES them.

We don't fight over weave because its my head and he is not my husband. When he becomes my husband he will have more of a say in the hair department.

Like this is one of my biggest fears when it comes to wigs smh lol.
I've never really been a wig person, though...now Micros (if they werent' so deadly to my hair) and Weaves? I'm down with those :yep:
 
OMG.... My SO HATES MY WIGS!!! he comments on them every chance he gets! He told me if I stopped wearing them he would get my hair done for me every week... tempting offer but naw I prefer shaking a wig off and going about my day!


Eta: yes I wear them doing coloring.. but thats b/c he doesn't give me time to take it off... but if I know its about toe be a serious coloring session I will take her off during a transition! :blush::look::lol:
 
My hubby doesn't care. I know he likes to rub my real hair, but he is understanding when it comes to my newfound love for lace fronts. And um...my wigs never fall off in the bedroom bc they are clipped on...lol. I might look a little wild after, but that just adds to the look haha.

My sweetheart doesn't care. From the long Megan wig to my Cleo cornrows, it won't stop him from keeping his hands off me lol.
 
If I said what I wanted to say about wigs in relationships, I'd get run off LHCF. :look:

I will say that he hates weaves and wigs alike, and I have no trouble finding other ways to PS so that we are both happy.
 
Yeah , mine hates it too, but I'm recovering from serious near baldness so he understands and tolerates my wigs. He even wears them and then pretends he's me. He's so stoopid.
 
this is an intetesting topic. I thought a long wig (& pumps) would be sexy/ a big turn on. Turns out DH really does not care for the wigs.

The first time I BC'd I was not comfortable enough with short or natural hair to even think about him liking them or not.

This time around I'm rocking twists.

Today I just happened to see a video April did on her favorie wig. I ended up ordering one. Lol. But I plan to cut it to around shoulder length and only wear it once a week or less.
 
DH doesn't like wigs & he has told me that he doesn't like them. I twisted my hair on Monday & I airdried (while banding) in the twists. When I removed the ponytail holders, I was surprised to see that the twists stretched to the same length that they stretched when I would blow dry. I've been wearing my hair in twists this week & I plan to do that for the rest of the winter, so he may not have to see me in the wig anymore.
 
DH was freaked out by wigs for a long time but he is getting over it. He says they look like someone has been scalped.

DH is the one who suggested that I go natural. I have purchased about 30 wigs, half wigs, lace fronts and he is very understanding of my hair goals. He has even helped me to pick out a wig in the beauty supply store & he suggested which wig I take on a recent work trip.

However, DH still won't touch the wigs at all. I keep them hidden away so he does not have to see the scalped heads. lol lol lol

I do NOT sleep in my wigs.
 
my homeboys.. not so much cause they know I have hair, so their first response is ..take that S*** off... my Baby...he doesn't like them, he understands why I wear them, he just wants my hair to get length of the wig (curly biggness and long straight)
 
My SO perfers my hair over my wigs but he loves the growth I have retained over the past year from wearing them. I try to wear my hair out for special occasions because I know he likes it. I do keep my wig on for coloring sessions because I don't think my beehive cornrow pattern is sexy. But if he taps on my shoulder in the middle of the night I'm NOT going to put my wig on..... Lol
 
Yes, man hubby hates them too. I compromise by not wearing them too long and alternating them with bunning and french twist. He sometimes cracks jokes about my wigs to discourage me from wearing them but I always ignore him and sometimes laugh with him. lol. When he deploys, Im going hard core with the wigs. :)
 
^^ Same here with the cracking jokes. He doesn't really like them but doesn't complain when I look cute wearing them out and about. We sometimes play a game where he chases me around the house with it like it is a monster:axehunter:.lol. We are a lil strange.
