They have it for $9.99. My other one just went out ,d I was about to go back to walgreens and get another one. This may be a good opportunity for someone who wants to try it without the shipping.

Thanks! I need to get myself over there quick!!!

I have issues with breaking my Split Enders so I could always use another on just in case.

WHAT??? I need to get there ASAP, because I know I'm gonna need to trim eventually....if not with this length check, then before the end of the year!

this is cool! they have it at walgreens too? I'll deifnately be picking it up now I really didn't want to pay $50 for it on the site.

I am so jealous, I have one but want another one as a back-up. I have a walgreens near me, if they dont have it can someone pick me up 2 and I will pay shipping as well.

ETA: ok went to two walgreens yesterday and neither of them had it BOO!!!!!

I am going to ask again:

Would someone be so kind as to pick up 2 of them for me and I will pay them (through paypal) including shipping as well Thanks

Your hair has to be in a straightened state or else it will snag

yes, i realize that but I don't want to straighten to bone straight. i was wondering if it would work on stretched hair or lightly blow dried hair. i don't want it to cut too much, but I guess it cuts all ends anyway.

I think it should work on hair that is not bone straight, on my hair that is more coily than straight I comb it out and I able to use the splitender just fine.

I picked up one from Ross in Humble , Texas. They had two left. Can't wait to use it when I flat iron my hair again. Oh and I need to pick up some batteries.

But does it really work...I had one some years ago and I am still on the fence. Please help me out. Is it worth it.

WAT!!!! I'll be stopping by Ross tomorrow. Question...if my ross does not have it, I am willing to pay $10 + SH for someone to get one for me. ITA $50...nah. $10 oh heck yea

Would you or someone please post a picture of this product and possibly give more details about it?

Thanks!

Ann

corny24's Full Review: Split Ender
The Split Ender looked like a great buy on the infomercials that so promisingly told me they would in fact get rid of my split ends right away. Having quite a few split ends I decided this was a must have product.

How It is Suppose to Work
You clamp your hair into the split ender and hold the handle down while moving down your hair to the ends. Inside the devise is suppose to recognize a hair that is split into two at the end and to cut off one of the ends.

Features
The features this product says it includes are, Trims Split Ends and damaged hair ends, Maintains hair length, Promotes healthy long beautiful hair, Easy and quick to use, Safer and faster than scissors, Unique patented hair plate, Assortment of new hot colors, and has a new metal pressing handle for durability.

Painful
As I tried this product the first thing I noticed was that It was very loud and I was scared to use it. It is run on batteries and when you clamp your hair into it, the machine rotates inside to do it's job and it is very loud. As the hair is going through the tiny machine it is easy for it to get tangled and pulled which is not a pleasant thing to go through.

After Use
After I used the split ender I quickly came to find that the product cut not only my split ends but my healthy hair too.

The infomercial had many hair models and as the hairstylists would use this product on the models hair it would instantly make their hair look so much better. I defiantly fell for the infomercial when the models acted like it didn't hurt either.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is a scam and doesn't really work.

I read these reviews they did not follow the directions. It works very well. Here is the website for the person that requested it. Of course it does not just the splitends that is just a name to draw you in. It also cuts the healthy ends, however it cuts such a smalll amount it is not a problem.

Was only 2 left...a Ross employee saw me w/ one and asked me if there were any left...we both snatched them up

DARN! I've wanted one for so long, they need to have that kind of deal here in Canada... :(

Huh. I just bought one fromt Ross today for 9.99 and came here before I decided to try it. I'm going to wash my hair and blow it out. I'll post some pics afterwards. I hope it works because some of my hair is neglected because it's shorter in the front. If this does work, I can save my self a lot of time and hair looking for a good stylist.

Dang, I saw one today at Ross and put it down. Orlando ladies it's at the Ross at the Old Winter Garden mall thingy.

Well, I think it did a good job trimming my ends. I didn't break off four inches of hair, like some review said. After I figured it out, it quickly and simply trimmed off about 1/4 to 1/8 of my hair. My problem is I'm natural, and even when it's kinda stretched it was still messy. I don't comb my natural hair unless it's wet, so quite a bit was coming out. It wasn't much more than a usual detangle. I kept them all and did a visual count, so next time I'll use a comb attachment. Right now I'm conditioning, and I'll consider pressing tommorrow to see if it's less frizzy than last time.

Any one in the LA area find it? I looked in the section near the flat irons. Is that where you guys found it? The people at Ross were doubfounded when I asked about it.
