How do you keep it from coming off? This is what a coworker asked me about my half wig yesterday while staring at my head. My face just went :nono::lachen:. I just cannot believe this girl got it from her head to her mouth to ask me that. I couldn't even really be mad, this girl is a chronic oversharer and will tell you about her credit history and all her other problems with in literally a day of meeting you. She doesn't have a filter and she's a tomboy, and she's yt, so basically and awful combination for hair questions lol.
So I laughed, told her I couldn't believe she had the gumption to ask me that and told her that the wig has clips. Seems like she wanted to ask more, but thought better of it, because our other coworker walked by and asked really loudly "WHAT DID SHE JUST ASK YOU?", and I think she got embarrased. She just said "I'm thinking of doing some stuff to my hair but I don't know if I can". Lawd help us all if this tomboy shows up to work with a half on her head and blames it on me :lachen:.

*Everyone's been sharing their outrageous "No she didn't" stories about hair lately, I wanted to too lol. Feel free to share yours too.

It seemed she was genuine and not trying to embarrass you or anything. I'm glad you simply told her the truth too.

PS i hope she comes in with a bad lacefront next week lmao glued in place right above her eyebrows lol.

:lachen::lachen::lachen: Believe me I would DIIIIIE! She is such a tomboy. Short haircut, no dresses outside work (our uniform is a dress), smokes a pack a day. The sight of this chick with a LF would kill me!

@ThickHair Yea, she's not the type to do that. She's sweet. At work she is known as the Queen of Awkward Moments though. She doesn't mean to be, she's just so curious and she really doesn't have a filter.

Miss C,
You might have the gift of writing. Your descriptions of her were short, spare but elaborate and visualizing at the same time. Not everyone can do that.

Love your voice in your writing as well.

Just saying... Don't want you to miss a calling. :)

Thank you so much LadyRaider! I actually am a writer. I am building up my freelancing career (so far I've only had one job but more will come). It makes me so happy that you said that! I am about to move to NYC and get a job at a magazine as an editorial assistant (again, just speaking it into existence). But thanks again!

See? I can spot 'em.

You're totally right DarkVictory, I've said that about a million times. Funny, cuz I'm the hair "expert" at work lol.

you know what? this young lady sounds so genuine. She even tried to "salvage" the situation when someone walked by. At least she's trying. she sounds so cute.

i can't tell you how many times people don't even ask, or worry about being offensive... they just "reach" and "ask" at the same time...
