Me too. Sadly enough, I was even getting weave checked at my BAA stage before I had any serious hang.

No I wouldnt because most likely I would be wearing a weave which is my protective style of choice right now. Seems like people judge others for wearing weaves but I know I have nice healthy hair underneath so thats all that matters.

I had a moment in the mall a couple of weeks ago. I had my hair in a puff, and I watched these 4 teenage black girls stare at me. I heard one say kinda low "that's probably a weave." I mean, it's a decent sized puff, but it's not out of hand! I guess when anyone has hair it's just an assumption now!
