Has anyone ever achieved it and shared the pics for proof

What would the regi look like for such a feat?

Do you need a particular hair type to achieve this?
 
I got 1 inch last month. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME EVER! LOL

I don't know how, or why. It just happened. I don't have any pictures cause I wasn't expecting it, AND I DIDN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT. :perplexed

Before I relaxed my hair, my daughter kept saying "this is a lot of hair". She knows what my newgrowth usually looks like. I told her to measure it, and it was an inch!

I do get extra growth in summer, so idk. Go figure, huh? :lachen:
 
I believe I came close to it. My head is kind of tilted, but I did flat iron the section and lo and behold - it was at the 4!!

I've been drinking Diatomaceous Earth everyday for the past 3 weeks :yep:

I don't know if a growth spurt occurred now that it is warmer :look:

In the Summer I dart out to my car to get crack up the AC, and into my job which is always cold. I DO NOT spend any time outside. I tan super fast and heat just makes me nauseous. I'm just going to go with the DE doing its job really well.

This is month the first time in 5 years I've gotten over an inch (1.25). I've been trying to grow my hair for that long. (After a bad experience with thio-based relaxer.)

I've been taking MSM, Biotin, drinking loads of water, loads of protein, and stretching relaxers.

Of course, my hair does not grow the same amount in every spot on my head. My crown grows faster, and this was where I got the 1.25 inches. The rest was about an inch.
The reason I could see the growth was that I hadn't colored my hair since I did my last relaxer (May 8th) and I could see all the grays AND the difference in the new growth texture.

I don't do anything different than the ladies here- I wrap my hair at night, oil my ends lightly several times a day, etc.

Now if I could just thicken up my hair and stop growing hair in unwanted places! :/

Now that i'm thinking about it, I did start that losing weight challenge about amonth and a half ago. Maybe the summer growth PLUS my exercizing EVERYDAY had something to do with it. hmmmmm.....:scratchch

When you mentioned eating clean are you referring to no fried or cook foods? Only raw fruits and vegetables and baked/grill/ meats?
 
I gain an inch last month & I was totally surprised. I attribute the growth to exercising & keeping my hair moisturized. My hair grew the fastest when I was working out at least 3x a week & now I have been working out almost every day now.
 
The most I've evr got in 0.75 with MT
I just started using MN and the results are looking promising.
My normal growth rate is usually 0.5 per month.
I'll post pics wen I get to my laptop.


I don't think u need a specific hair type - have 4!- I think it may have to do with ur genes

Last month my hair grew and retained 1 inch. This is what I did:
- Applited surge to my hair twice a day
- took biotin when I remembered
- moisturized and sealed frequently
- deep conditioned twice a week
- I did some scalp massages with JBCO
- for half the month i wore my hair in cornrows under my hair wigs

So I know it's possible to get 1 inch per month (for me anyway). it's just a matter of finding the willpower to stick to my regimen and stay consistent :look:
 
MyFriend - no, not necessarily. For me, clean eating mean less grains, more fruits/veg/lean proteins (less meat) So instead of having a carbs - meat - fat - juice - veg - fruit.....we are eating: veg - protein - complex grain - fruit - yogurt (full fat greek)

I also take some elements from the belly fat diet - limiting sugars and carbs.

Proteins - beans, nuts, eggs, yogurt - I eat yogurt like Michael Weston!(Burn Notice), whey protein powder, wild Alaskan salmon, chicken breast (I remove all skin from chicken), milk

Lots of Wheat Germ, moderate wild rice, wheat pasta, brown rice

3 vegs with lunch, 3 with dinner

a handful of fruit (berries) I go through a pint of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries (breakfast/snack/dessert - an apple)

when I want cake, I eat cake...a small slice. When I want a cookie, I eat a cookie. I eat lots of dark chocolate so I don't get sweets cravings often.

Anymore complicated than that, and I wouldn't be able to stay consistent with it. This way I can keep it going....and not order takeout!

^^^ AlliCat where have you been able to find Surge??? I thought they stopped making it...

I stocked up at my local BSS when it was in stock and I still use it today (it still works). I haven't seen it onb the shelves since it's been discontinued though

To answer your last question - no. It's the individual body chemistry not the type of hair that makes a difference.

Allicat, what is a product that is close to Surge that will give the same results?
 
breakfast: banana, Fage total yogurt (single serving) w/2 stevia packets, 1 1/2TBSP toasted wheat germ, 1 tsp of honey, and sm. handful of blueberries. Hot tea

Doesn't seem like alot, but it can be hard to get it all down in one sitting.

Snack: nuts, or hot tea, or fruit, or some sort of protein drink/shake

Lunch: whatever was leftover from dinner - in a pinch peanut butter n jelly on whole grain bread (no high fructose corn syrup) - water, hot tea, or milk

Or half sandwich w/veg soup, or veg. chili (great way to eat cheap and stuff your diet with veg if you are lacking elsewhere) Lentil soup w/onion, celery, carrot

Or baked sweet potato w/cinn. n honey brown rice and & small piece of chicken, or w/red beans.

I love spinach as a base for salad. I can add cheese, nuts, fruit, etc and it still tastes good. I can have baked potato as a side - and it travels well.

Nice growth, but I am assuming the dates with the pics are backwards?

this reg sounds good allicat! i wish i could get an inch...i am a slow grower. 1/4 inch at most a month. :wallbash:
 
I am trying to get that much growth that would be great! I am approaching my 2 year anniversary for being natural and I want to be APL by the time I get there. So far I am about 1.5-2 inches away from that.
It seems that exercising everyday and eating a diet high in protein genereally helps many to get this almost unattainable 1 inch or more.
I'm on it...
