Skala Aloe vera con is a HIT! Its a great cowash condish! I wish I could try the masque. I might just buckle and order a couple of things off the website like the masques.

Hit: VS So Sexy Nourish Condish!

Miss: Roux Porosity Control (I don't think I need it b/c it did nothing but make my hair smell like dishwashing liquid)

Hit- Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque (leaves my hair feeling soft)
Giovanni Direct Leave In (love how it defines my coils)

Miss- Cantu Leave in (it didn't leave my hair very moisturized)
Yes to Carrots Mud Mask (it left my hair feeling under conditioned)

BIG HIT:

Joico Silk Results Conditioner
- it works awesome as a daily moisturizer and of course I love it as a rinse out conditioner.

Air drying using the scarf Method
- My hair is sooo moisturized when I air dry using the scarf method. I keep my hair hanging loose, finger combing as it drys, and adding more creamy leave in and serum as needed to keep it smooth and soft.

charmtreese

I love your pony in your sig:) It's so full, thick, luscious, silky and bouncy looking. Is that a banana clip or hairzing?

I plan to Wig-It the rest of 2011 (if I can take the weather):yep:

You said a mouthfull IDT! The past few days my hot Jill Scott wig has me sweatin for no reason! I was in Ross yesterday and couldnt focus bcuz I was sweatin around my hairline. Same thing happened in Marshalls today! Im gonna bun Jun 1 until I get a microbraid/sew in combo near my bday.

Hits for this month are:

CV Honey Butter Poo Bar

Surge Organics Grapefruit Shampoo (smells like lemonade, and removed my cones from when I flatironed)

JC Nourish and Shine (a sweetheart sent this to me and it really does make my hair shine and it doesnt take much product seriously)

SheScentIt Seyani Hair Butter (great for my transitioning ends)

SheScentIt Super Soft Honey Rinse - made my hair so soft and detangled!

Hairveda Sitrinillah - DC'ed with this last night! My hair was so soft "it didnt make no sense" lol

Using Water/Glycerine and sealing with shea butter/coconut oil/essential oil blend - my hair was so soft it didnt even feel real. I was on the quest for the best leave in on earth and I already had it at home!

On the fence:
Qhemet AOHC - I expected to hear the angels in heaven calling my name after I used this product. Everybody raved! Then I found out they only use a little on wet hair...no wonder yall can buy one jar and it lasts you til retirement if you only use a smidgen each wash day...what good does that do me? Didnt work as a leave in. Im trying to use it as a sealant and Im not impressed. Since I bought it locally and spent more than $20 on it Im being very persistent about making it work  I welcome suggestions!

Hairveda 24/7: No as a deep condition! Will try as a co-wash!

Miss:
Giovanni Direct Leave In - I will use what I have but wont buy it again. My hair felt waxy the next day. It defined my "waves" but I love to touch my hair and I dont want it to feel like it belongs on somebody else's head when I do so:grin:

-got2b crazysleak heat protectant.

-Lustrasilk Tratamiento Para El Cabello. Basically an Intensive Treatment with Protein (only $2 at the BSS) for some reason the Lustrasilk in spanish was cheaper than the one's in English. It might be a Dominican formulation.

Hit

Roux Porosity Control. I was highly skeptical about this product but wanted to give it a try. Throughout my transition, I noticed that my new growth would dry much faster than my relaxed ends and that might be an indication of porosity issues.

I washed my hair as usual, then I applied PC to one side for 30 seconds and rinsed and did the same to the other side. My hair seemed kind of "tangly". I DCed under my steamer for 30 minutes and followed my same moisturizing regimen. In the morning my hair was still moist, which never happens! For this entire week, my hair has needed significantly less product to retain its moisture. This is a keeper!

Miss:
Silk Elements Moisturizing Conditioner-this may not be the proper name, but it was on sale at Sally's for 1 buck, so I gave it a try. This gave me no slip and seemed kind of waxy.

*** Hits ***

Peppermint & Tea Tree Nourishing Shampoo
Avocado Cream Balanced Conditioner
Bee Hold Curly Butter
Bee Loved Hair & Scalp Moisturizer
Deja's Hair Milk
Juicy Moisturizing Daily Spritz
Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer
Hair Growth Serum

The only regret I have is not getting this product line sooner.

Miss: Transitioning to natural was a no go for me

Alfaparf Shine Spray (extremely light, doesn't weigh down hair)
Miss: Silicon Mix Bambu shampoo (too harsh)

Hits:
Darcy's Botanicals Transitioning cream, Coconut butter pomade, Pumpkin seed condish, Coconut aloe moisture pudding, and Madagascar vanilla styling creme

Miss:
Bee Mine shampoo and condish

so glad to hear that you loved the transitioning cream its on my list of items to try! i wanna try her deep conditioning mask too!

Miss:

Roux Porosity Control: one of the ingredients I am allergic to, I think the mica. It gave me such a headache, I felt like my scalp was being ripped into. I jumped out of my sleep and had to rewash my hair.

Bee Mine Bee Hold Curly Butter: Again one of the ingredients I am allergic to, I was dizzy and I threw up a little this morning. I had to wash my hair again. I think its the fragrance (Baby Powder). I am going to get the item again unscented this time and see how that works. It gave me amazing shine but the dizziness and naseau were not cool.:nono:

HIT:

-Lutersilk Shea butter.... and Wheat Germ Oil: This added to my protein treatment sent hair to a whole nother level

-Brazilian heat Flat iron (by Mega hot): one pass and my hair was swangin'

-Washing and conditioning my daughters hair in one hour

HITS:

-Skala Ceramide
-Silk Elements MegaSilk Leave In Moisturizing Creme
-Silk Elements MegaSilk Intense Conditioning Mayonnaise

MISSES:
-Queen Helene's Super Cholesterol Conditioner

......and yeah, that's a miss because it totally left my hair tangled and not nearly as moisturized as other DC's. Probably worst I've tried so far, honestly. Which sucks because I have a small tub of it I will now likely not use and let collect dust.

Joie Naturals MyGel- Big hit. It reminds me of JAM, Elasta Glaze, IC Ice Pomade, etc..It works as well as Keracare Edge Tamer and Hicks Transformation Gel. It's concentrated so only a little bit is needed. It got my hair super slick and straight. The hold doesn't last all day but that's alright. The ingredients are fantastic!!

thumbs up!

I also have to say the silk elements hair mayo is a HIT! It is amazing. My hair felt so strong rinsing out. I flat ironed and my hair is very soft. I am going to sallys tomorrow to pick up the silk elements cholesterol b/c this product was great.

Neither a hit nor miss:

J/A/S/O/N Jojoba and Lemongrass Color Treated Conitioner. I do know that it's not a repurchase item for me:nono:. I have not yet used the accompanying shampoo but I will soon and see how my hair feels about it.

HIT:
Mills Creek Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner. The poo doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped and the conditioner does strengthen it a little.

hit: mixing trader joe nourish spa conditioner with evoo and grape seed oil.

monoi de tahiti oil is a hit too.
