I love looking at the hair pictures here at LHCF, so I thought I'd show a few of my pictures today.
This is my first time doing so many twists. I usually do about 10 and that's it due to time constraints.
Here's the reggie for those who may be interested::
The day before I pre-poo'd my hair with Burt's Bees (2 min) and sat under the heat cap for about 1 hour.
Next I washed with Nourish Hair and conditioned with Burt's Bees regular conditioner....
Left a little extra on my hair (paying special attention to the ends).
Next, I parted my hair in two applied shea butter, and wore two pony-tails until today.
Today I twisted my hair adding more shea butter (paying special attention to the ends).
My goal is to do what I did last year with my twists but with more of them which is to twist on "rasta twist" hair as a style and protection. What do you think?
I feel my ends need special attention, especially because they are so thin. One of my goals is to have healthy ends. Any comments or suggestions? I am 100% natural (since 2003), and only use heat about 3 times a year to measure and trim...although sometimes I trim while in my twists.
TIA
