Gotta co-sign on this right here! This is my new staple, softest most moisturized hair ever with this stuff.
An hour ago, I read this post and thought "What the heck is Skala?" I go over to that long Skala thread and read up on it. 10 min later, I'm in the car and headed to Big Lots. I bought the Aloe Vera Con, Ceramides G3 con, Aloe vera leave in, and 2 fruit cocktail masks. I'm pitiful.Continued Hits:

-Aussie 3 minute miracle- WOAH. I always thought people were exaggerating when they talked about this product but now I'm a believer! After shampooing out my MT tonight my hair was like a rats nest. I anxious mixed a little Aussie w/ my TJ nourish and SAA. I started applying it and it detangled my knots no problem. Oooohhh it's SO good. I can't believe it!
-Megatek- My nails are ridiculously strong after applying this to my scalp. I can't say anything on the MT seeing that I've only been using it for two days.
-Silk amino acids- How could I forget my beloved SAA? I mix it with my MT, DC, regular conditioners(only two- a protein and a moisturizing. Not a PJ yet!), and my mascara. My NG is soo deliciously soft. Yum.

-Cantu shea butter leave in conditioner (I'm not sure if that's the correct name). This felt amazing on my hair but left me with a ton of buildup! I tend to be light handed with my products (because my scalp is oily and my hair gets weighed down easily) so I know it wasn't due to OD'ing. One night I was combing my hair and all I could see was a bunch of little white flakes falling out. I thought I was getting dandruff which has never been an issue for me. Thankfully I happened to come on here and read someone else(Nonie I think) talking about the build-up. I still have an almost full jar and I hate to waste but I really don't want to use this in my hair again. Sigh.

ome this is horrible. the worst thing i've ever done to my natural hair. i tried to use this in a dc and it was a disaster. i went to rinse this junk out and my hair was so hard and tangly. it took me like 20 minutes to get it all out. my hair is super dry and still is rough. i used like half a bottle of HE HH and although it did help, this does not feel like my hair. i will never use this junk again! evah! i wish i could just throw it in the eye of a tornado. ugh i'm freakin pissed. my hair so hard, and i don't have any dc. i have to buy some more. omg. ugh. ♥

I'm so sorry about this. I had my "experiences" with coconut oil when I first started doing my own hair. I used it on my wet hair & it felt great--until it dried. Once it dried, my hair was hard and crunchy. Now, I only use it to seal my ends & to help with shine while I'm taking down my braids for a braidout.

Pre pooing for like 24hrs with Dabur Vatika oil then co-washing with Skala Avocado conditioner.
Putting my 15 1/2 wk post relaxer hair into a pony directly after rinsing conditioner out to air dry in. My NG laid so flat and will be so easy to manage on T-up day.
Tea rinsing-good bye extra shedding!
