I really like the texture of BoBraz hair but most of the styles I've seen have too much hair for my liking! Would 1 pack of BoBraz be enough for a more realistic look or is that cutting it close? I was looking on allaboutmyhair.com (or whatever its call) and for their kinky curly texture hair they say 1 pack (4oz) is enough for a full install. Any input ladies?
 
Bobraz is great.
I used a little less than 1 pack for my install.
I love the hair.
This is 14 inches of 1b.
I cut 2-4 inches off of the hair.

Thanks Nikki. Looks great. What length did you get and how much if any of your hair did you leave out? What did you do to get your curls to pop? I really think this might be the hair for me!

I edited my OP with the info but I used 14 inches of 1B. I cut 2 to 4 inches of the hair though, so I guess I could have gotten it shorter.

I split the weft. I left out a small amount of the crown and perimeter but when i do it again I will just leave the small amount of the crown and the front perimeter only. The hair gets so full that the amount I left out in the back was never seen, even in a ponytail.

I used conditioner with a denman, rinse, use a little mousse and anti frizz, then do not disturb while it is drying. It dries quickly, about an hour. I would cowash and wear to work while wet.
 
I have in one pack of Boh Braz and it is more than enough! I didnt split the wefts or seal and i havent had any major shedding issues. I really love this hair and I have recieved so many compliments.

That's pretty, what color do you have? Did you flat twist your hair to get it blend with the BoBraz? I really want to try this hair. I think I will have to henna it first to match my hair since my hair is redder now.
 
So I placed my order for 12" BoBraz #2 from Black Hair Spray. Theirs was only $71.99 and I found a 20% off coupon. I compared the price for Clair Hair and Black Hair Spray and the price was pretty much the same when you add in the shipping. I like Black Hair Spray better because they are always fast and Clair Hair is affiliated with Hair Sisters I believe and I had a problem with Hair Sisters.

The coupon code is "ae20off". I believe the coupon is good until 4/18/2010.

The hair is 1b and I have 14 inches....actually I would prefer shorter but Im living with it.

and yes I flat twist my hair to blend...it works really well

Okay, wow that's a 1b. That looks light. I guess their colors run light. I saw the flat twist method. I plan on doing that for blending as well.

yea the color is light... I usually need a 2 because my hair a dark brown but the 1b matched just fine.

I ordered a #2, but I think I need a 1b. Looking at your pics, the #2 will be too light. I plan hennaing the hair to match my hair. I don't want it to turn bright red and if I get the #2, it will be. I'm gonna try it on a small piece of hair first. Let me email blackhairspray so that I can ask them to change the color. Thanks posting that pic.
