Awwwww, her so cute!!! Man, I CANNOT WAIT to BC so I can see all of my curlicious curly-q's come to life! *HUGE SIGH* :wallbash:

Ok, just had to share...Hope someone else can relate. :)

I feel ya girlie! I used to get excited about my curls too. Although I never BC'd, the excitement of new growth was definitely there!

see all the beautiful natural haired ladies hair who can just wash their hair, add a little product and watch their curls spring to life

It's so cute! I have a few of these corkscrew curls around my head that I just adore...like you, I can't wait to BC and see them without the relaxed ends.

I totally agree Ms. Diva. When I saw that my hair was 50% relaxed and 50% natural, I was SO happy! You would have thought I'd reached WSL or something. It made me feel like it won't be so hard to get through another 58 weeks (at week 46 right now).

Good luck on the BC!

so cute. And I understand when I see new curls I spend about an extra 15 min looking at and touching them XD I wish I was done transitioning already :(

Girrrrrrrrrrrrl! That's a seriously LOOOOOOOOOONG transition! Good luck to you too! :)

so cute!! :D :D yeah, seeing mine drove me to just BC without transitioning for too long. :D

I'm there myself! Stalking my stylist now trying to get on his books! Ready to cut with a toenail clipper at this point! :lachen:

good luck with that I have a long one ahead of me too, I don't know the week but I'm at 1 year 5 months and have a long way to go. :nono:

I forgot to say gl to all transitioning

I can SO relate! I get excited when I see things like that too. No one understands except my BFF (Tylove...she's on here and is already natural...she was also a long term transitioner) and my LHCF sisters :)

Awww! That's too cute.

I feel you though cuz I did a shirley temple curl on my natural hair with my finger, and it was perfect...like a baby's. LOL And my hubby and son are hating on my waves big time. I can't wait to be all natural!

I see why! That siggy pic is making me SEASICK! Get em girl! :D

Girl, yes! I know what you're saying. Everytime I see my new thick curls (especially compared with these wimpy :lachen:relaxed ends), I'm always tempted to BC. When are you planning to do yours?

BTW, I think we might be hair twins (or at least transitioning twins). My last relaxer was 05/07/09- just five days after yours =)

I can definitely relate. Thanks for this post. Sometimes it feels like you will forever be with two textures.

VERY COOL! :D :hiya: hair/ transition twin! :)
I originally planned to do it on June 1st...had an appointment set and everything. Sent my stylist a text a week or so ago and said, let's move it up to April 24th. Had my appointment set. Talked to him yesterday and I decided to BC on this upcoming Monday! Excited! :)

I agree...the process is so long! That alone is what I think will keep me natural forever! I never want to transition again! :wallbash:

I know how ya feel. When I was transitioning I cut a few pieces before I did the BC just to play in my curls. I wasnted to do a long-term transition but I just couldn't resist so I commend you on going for so long. It will definitely be well worth it!

Thanks. I know shrinkage will make it short, but I am hoping not TOO short.

Oh, wow, next Monday? I guess we won't be twins for long if you're BCing that soon. Who knows, maybe seeing yours might inspire me to pull out the shears! *snipsnip* :yep:

How long do you plan to transition?
Maybe another couple of years:perplexed
until I'm at least mbl with natural hair unstretched :look: I think my natural hair might be chin length stretched now. I'll probably do small chops along the way. If I hit hip length this year I'll probably cut up to wl.
