after all the drama with hair sisters i must say that i am completely satisfied with the hair i purchased

2 packs of free tress shake and go water wave weave
a curve needle
thread

this hair came out soft when i opened the pack and i ordered 1b
the hair does have a smell(barbie doll hair) to it but its from the hair being processed, and btw it is synthetic

i washed the hair with vo5 strawberries and cream shampoo and let it sit in the sink for 15 mins
rinsed and applied aussie moist conditioner on the hair( do not rub in)
rinsed and added in a little aussie to the hair
i did squeeze the excess water out of the hair and let the hair hang dry in the shower
i braided my hair going back in cornrows
blow dried the hair on cool not manipulating with the curls

when the curls were fully dry i sewed in the tracks

hope you enjoy
any questions feel free to ask!!!!!!!!

if you want the curly natural look that flows with the wind i recommend this hair! so manageable, and i love it. this could also be a cheap weekend getaway trip style......
hopefully i can get 12 weeks out of this hair

oh quick funny story, i picked up ds from pre school yesterday and i had a hat on because i wasnt quite finished with my hair...... so today picked him up and he told his teacher my mom is finished with her hair now:lachen:

I used that hair before.. in a couple more days you can also comb it out to give it an afro look or just run your fingers though it a couple times.. Nice job it looks very natural

if i finger comb it will the curls come back? i want to separate them but i can wait for 6 weeks, the frizz is okay for curly hair but i dont want it to be bushy ya know?

So i have REALLY been thinking about doing my own installs... like really. The only problem is, i suck at braiding to the scalp, I would have to get someone else to do that part for me. Anybody know any really good youtubers that do self braiding. No thread hijack btw...

I am absolutely in love with freetress water wave hair:love3: I'm in my second install of my crochet braids (see thread link in siggy) and I'm loving it....although I'm really missing my hair and can't wait to straighten to do a length check....I'm really enjoying this hair and playing with new colors has been great fun as well:yep:

Oh and just be warned, if you comb it for the afro look....its for good....so only do that when you want your hair to look like that for the duration of the install.

you should try it. i got exhausted braiding and my arm got tired quick but i had to get through it. i told myself ill have someone braid my hair in a circle next time and then do my own install. next i want to try straight hair with some bangs :lick:

thanks sis :bighug:im glad u told me that, now what if i separate the curls?

I've always used bulk hair so I'm not sure how I'd go about it if it were attached to a weft but I just carefully separate the curls and pull them apart after loosening the curl prior....I'll have to demonstrate what I mean by that in a video lol and I used gel to keep my curls defined....I love this hair and I'm having a ball with it.

Make sure you post pictures when you do this. I have been plannign to do this for ages but dont want to take the plunge incase I do not get my closure right. Tell us how you get on!!

Your hair is nice btw!

nice....i really wanna buy some high quality hair and do an install but i think it's very smart to start out with synthetic hair, in case i mess something up. i like the freetress water wave bulk hair too, just bought 4 more packs for crochet braids.
