I took my daugter's hair down from braids last Monday she is 15 week post I washed, DC and protein Tx. I blow dried it and light press it . Then this Saturday I put the Braids Back in took me 5 hours. OBTW she is trasitioning, unlike me she is doing a long term stretch and not the BC.. ENJOY

Nice! She is gorgeous, and I'm not one to use that word casually. Its good that you're ridding her of relaxers. She should be natural until she's older and can make the choice.

I like her braids. You did a great job. The best thing about your journey together is that she'll have good "Hair Day" memories.

I feel the same way too, and I love tha fact the she is mature enough to understand that her hair is going to grow back fast chemical free, and that the pool will once again be her friend.

Aww, I love it!!! :clapping: The fishtail braid, the little spirals - all of it!!! This is making me want to get braids and I haven't had those things in yearrrrrrrs :yep:

Love the braids & she's so pretty. You are just like me when it comes to someone saying my dd is my twin. I just don't see it but everyone else does. She looked so much like my husband when she was born so I still see him all in her. Both of you are cuties.
