I can finally see the light........or should I say the

LENGTH!!

Since I'm looking at hair in a new light nowadays, I've noticed that what I considered long hair on women is only................... APL or BSL
Why did it seem like Ankle or Toe length to me before ?????????

So many women on this board have obtained and surpassed those lengths.

I can see the light and I will soon see the length

Amen to that!!! I can't wait to get to APL this is my biggest mission in my hair goal, I have a feeling that after that other goals like BSL/MBL/WL would be alot easier for me

That's so funny that you posted this because I was just thinking that I am going to move my first goal to BSL now that I am at APL because this length doesn't seem that long. Compared to the women on here, APL is nothing :-(

I hear you. I told myself all I need is some APL in my life. Got to that and my hair started feeling like NL to me. My goal now is MBL - I'm really stopping then and just trying to grow out all my strands to the same length.....no really....I'll stop at MBL lol.

I understand you, I would really just be happy for full shoulder length, BSL would be lovely, but to just have healthy shoulder length would be ideal and of course to maintain it would be great!

I used to think full SL hair was long. When I joined here, APL was my FINAL goal. Now that I am here, I am like, "There is NO WAY that I am not going for more length." APL does not feel long to me- I need a real challenge! My new goal is MBL. This year, I am going for BSL and then MBL in 2011 BABY!!!

Damn, I've been on this journey for a year and a half and still haven't reached APL. It just seems so freaking difficult. I'll just keep trying though.

I'm only going for bsl because I think that length would compliment the thickness of my hair. I think anything longer or shorter would be less flattering on me

Yes, LHCF makes one see the lengths to which we can aspire. I want my natural hair to grow as long as possible while retaining health.
