I have a blog too! (self promotion here) in my signature that I just started. I think this thread could be a great resource to share different blogs/video channels!!
Also, I think blogging/vlogging is fun either way. I think blogs are better for like different product or tool lists. I think vlogging is better for showing the actual process people use for their hair. Personally, I suck at video editing, so I'm sticking to blogs.

I would have to ask you how are you marketing your blog? If you are just blogging and hoping for people to find you and stick around, that is going to frustrate you to no end. Do you have catchy titles? What are the settings on your blog? Who are you using, is it a free host OR are you hosting it yourself?

I just checked out your blog. its very nice (nice layout, clean, easy to follow etc)
I think if you do "like my blog" giveaways it could really help kick it off. Meaning, on fb, post a status "to everyone that likes and shares my blog on fb i will randomly select 2 people and giveaway _____". (or something around those lines) get your friends involved, bug people! the squeaky wheel gets the oil! Also if you did more tutorials, that would also help too. such as: how to do a twist out, how to dc with egg and olive oil, etc (those are just examples).
