You know you're obsessed with hair when you're so busy looking a sista's long beautiful hair that the heel of your shoe gets caught in a crack in the sidewalk and you almost go tumbling into a garbage can!!!!!!!!
I was so embarrassed. I need to hurry up and grow some hair before I break a leg or something

The people are coming to put the carpet in in less than an hour, and you still haven't taken you computer aprt, because you want to check all the posts you missed packing last night. Okay i gotta go, cause my time is ticking away. Gotta check those posts.

You keep all the products that you've bought over the years and your husband tells you to get rid of it because you don't use it and you tell him no because you never know if you might need it again. Constantly on this site, talking about hair to friends and as so many of you have mentioned before being able to tell other women where the product is what's better and where you can find it. Also when your at home off from work and friends call you to find out what products work for you so they might try especially since you have the same type of hair. You don't have any room left, but you'll make room without getting rid of other products. I' ve only been a member on this site less than a month and I've learned so much about my hair and better ways to take care of if it from you ladies. My husband is definatly glad I found this site because he wants my hair back long. When I told him about this site he said it was about time I found this type of site. I still have a long way to go with growth, but as long as I've got you ladies I'll make it.

You have dreams about your hair. Especially if they're nightmares about getting your hair stuck in a machine or having a criminal come up and instead of robbing you, he takes out a big pair of shears and cuts off a chunk of hair.

You begin to have a nervous breakdown when your hair sheds a bit more than normal. I've been know to go crazy!!1

I am glad to see that I am not alone in my obsession! I got a couple for ya.... you know you're obsessed....
.....when u are trying to explain to your husband why you can't wear that expensive gold chain he gave you for your anniverary because the clasp pulls your hair.
.....when you can give better advice on hair products while in the BSS than the people who work there!
.....when your mother's hair stylist hates when you come into town because you always bring new products and encourage her to do her own hair more often.
....when your ten year old hollers from outside the bathroom "are you looking at your hair again?"
....when people ask you can you do something to help their daughter's hair grow like your daughters hair, and you don't really know them!
I could do this all night...I guess I'll give someone else a turn.

You know you are hair obsessed when you wake up in the middle of the night out of a deep sleep
. What woke you up? You just sensed that your satin scarf was no longer on your head. So half asleep you reach around on the floor, find your scarf, and then tie it securely back on your head.
My husband has woken up while I've done this, and when he asks, "What are you doing?" I feel too silly to say, "Oh, I know it's 4:00 in the morning, but I had to retie my scarf"
So instead I just pretend I'm going to the bathroom or something!

1.When every conversation you have with your boyfriend, best friend, or family member somehow comes back to hair: what you learned on the board, what you're using on your hair, your hair goal.
2.When you share tips or gossip (from the off topic board) daily with friends and someone asks who told you that you respond, "the girls from the board told me" like they're your girlfriends from back in the day!

I watched OZ the other day for the first time
because when flipping channels, I saw a beautiful black nurse wearing her hair down, about shoulder blade length. It looked thick and relaxed and not bone straight, like she had an airdried rollerset/doobie.

You can smell someone's hair and know exactly the brand of hair products they use.
You want to lecture every stranger with ragged ends about the virtues of the "baggie method".
You stand in the mirror everyday with a handheld mirror trying to figure out if your hair has grown from the morning.
Your broke behind spends money on more hair products and you rationalize that you will bring lunch into work for the next two weeks.
You are so aware that some mean and evil person ( I live in New York yall) could cut your ponytail off in the movie theater so make sure not to lean back too far.
While combing your hair at work you are aware that some other mean, evil, and jealous person could collect any fall out and do God knows what with it so you make sure to pick it up and flush it. /images/graemlins/huh.gif
When you hear others talk about their hair regimine, you have to bite your tongue to keep from telling them that Vaseline does NOT count as a hair moisturizor.
