Congratulations! You did a marvelous job. I know you're on a "Natural" high right now, I was when I BC'd. Now the real fun begins.

StephElise I'm totally on a high right now...even though my mom told me she hates natural hair and that I just need to get a relaxer ASAP today. Thanks for the support mom, but my future DH absolutely loves it. Nothing funnier than him (white guy) patting my fro . I actually watched your BC YT video about 2 weeks before I did my chop Friday.

I totally understand about the mom issue. Mine was thrilled when I told her I was going natural, but she thought I was going to be a straight haired natural instead of wearing it curly. It helps to have the support of your spouse. For me that made a huge difference. Mom will come around eventually, just give her some time.
