It's the worst!! I have to wash my hair like 3 or 4 times to get the white crap out. And sometimes I may forget I had the Cantu in my hair. Like say I did a twist out on Monday and then Thursday or Friday I want to slick it back into a puff - I still get that white residue. Evan after my hair has dried. Or even just putting gel on my edges after I've done my braidout or twistout it turns white. :nono:

LOL the same thing happened to me Glamazon. I learned the hard way that Cantu shea leave-in doesnt work well with gel for MY HAIR. An ACV rinse gets the white gelly balls out though. But what a waste of product it was. :wallbash:

I wonder if the OP had success because of the conditioner she used to co-wash. Sometimes those little things make a huge difference.

What did you co-wash with?

Personally, Cantu works well for me, but only if I use Castor oil or jojoba oil AFTER the Cantu.

I cannot mix the two. I don't try to put gel in as well..
