Ya\'ll am I doning too much here?

Since I am forced to think of my own hair style (updo), I was thinking about getting my hair strawset, but then getting three chuncky flat-twist in the front of my hair and pushing the strawset curls on TOP of my head and secure it in a really loose fashion. (can you picture it?) But here's my concern...

I am afraid that I will be "doing to much" with the straw set curls and flat twist Or worst, that I may be ruining a sophisticated updo by adding the "casual" twist. So, Should i leave well enough alone and do just the curls? I don't want to look like the girl with too many hair styles going on

I don't think it is to much, but I would just do the curls personally.

Well to be totally honest, I can't picture three fat flat-twists with skinny curls. I can see if you were going to have a couple more flat-twists at a medium width, but three fat ones with straw-curls?

I'd do all curls.

I cant even picture it!!! But you have a lot of style so I know that you can pull it off. Sounds like you are going somewhere special ......
