OP you tricked me, I was like "oh nooo" & my stomach felt funny when clicking on this thread: I was silently praying it wouldn't be too bad...so relieved. beautiful progress. Congrats!

Like the Kool-Aid man says "OOOh yeah!", leaving the hair along keeps it from being overworked, overstressed and overdone. It works. I am always surprised when I let mine alone for some months, then do something like blow it out or straighten it, and I am Wowed! :) :) Wonderful progress, keep up the good work or lack of no work. :)

Now that's a pleasant surprise! Congratulations. I so have the hand in the hair disease right now and it's so ridiculous. I need to just let it be and give it some space like you did.
 thats funny! Thanks , everyone for your comments :D,,, I forgot to mention that i have been wearing it in a bun all this time also,, now i HATE buns on me, i think i look awful but luckily not too many people have to see it LOL , its a great protective style,, that doesnt make me keep touching it.. I also had hand in head disease lol, i know what that feels like , when i first started out being healthy with my hair,, but as the years passed i just stopped and I stopped trying new products every week also,, just basic stuff Garnier shampoo and styling products.. Joico moisture retention,, and a protein treatment once in a while,, i think simplicity is really best
