I have been leaving my hair alone for about 6 mths now,, straightening rarely ( just havent seen the point lately lol), never combing or brushng and I was under the impression my hair was not yet at waist lengtherplexed..... I SOAKED my hair with water and conditioner tonight and took and hand mirror and looked at the back of my hair for some reason and stretched,,,, my hair is nearly at my tailbone!!! I was totally shocked!! I wish it were thicker but no trimming yet, im just gonna let it keep going for now... I just think its pays off superbly to LEAVE THE HAIR ALONE ! lol, its like magic..

Do you relax your hair ? There is no way I could go without combing for 6 months ! I would end up ripping any new hair out trying to comb out the knots and tangles.

Hi, no im 100% natural as of Oct 2005 ,, for some reason my hair doesnt tangle much,,,, i soak it with water and conditioner and just sort of massage it and the tangles slip out, i really never comb it

LOL, im about 5'4 but what gets me is I have a realllllly long torso,, this is part of why I am so shocked!!! Im short legged and long torsoed, Im really kind baffled as to what causes this growth,,, other than simply letting it be.... Ive even been super stressed out but struggled to eat well ( enough protein) and sleep alot, probably too much lol... something out of those things sped up my growth i think
