July 2007... My hair has always been at shoulder in the back and mid cheek in the front... but I had drastically started chopping away at the no-lyed hair and damage. I wore buns all the time and wanted to be natural but had been confused. This is the shortest my hair has been since joining... because I was chopping at overprocessed hair.Okay, you got me late for church up in your thread. lol
I say claim that APL!!!! Your hair is nice and thick.
What are your hair specs? type, natural or transitioning, #weeks post, starting length, # of months to get to where you are, etc.
*shuts laptop and heads to church.
Okay LHCFers... my sister is flatironing my hair now... and my hair feels like butter. She pulled it down to show me where it was (I felt the area) and I know it's not BSL or midback, but it really feels like I been sleeping on my hair (ignoring the growth) and the progress I've been making. DH said my hair was hitting APL but I was lie pfft yea right... I kinda won't believe the length until I see for myself to be honest!
Yea this thread is worthless without pics but I will have a reveal coming in a few hours. I'm all excited... I said I wouldn't straighten or post until I really "got somewhere" with my hair.

Thanks, they have these BRIGHT apple red color rinses at Sally's and Hot Topic. The names and brands aren't really important... but I just used the brightest reds... I went heavy handed on using the color and then covered it with ORS Hair Mayo and used the microwave steam method - Wet a towel or turbie twist, and microwave it for 60 secs, then put it on top of your hair (which is covered by a plastic cap)... left it for about an hour. You and your hair are stunning!! :wow:
I'm loving the color! How'd you do it?
