Would you be upset if

Oddly, this situation happened to me two years ago. I was upset, because I very ill, bed-bound, and too weak to even use my wheelchair, and SO at the time would not help me clean it up. :nono: His BF came over and cleaned it for me; he even drew me a bath, brushed my teeth, and carried me to and from the bathroom.

That ex is an ex for multiple reasons, but his refusal to help really hurt me since he was very aware of my health issues.

Was his BF single? cos I would have dumped his *** and replaced him with his BF if there was an attraction btw us.

No...we clean up after ourselves unless we are on the brink of dying (which, thank God hasn't happened yet).

And grown people better make it to the toilet or a sink or a bucket...lol!

I dont think I would be unless I was deathly ill. I caught food poisoning once that literally rendered me speechless and partially immobile which caused me to have to puke several times on the floor. DH just cleaned it up and didnt say anything. Im not sure I could do the same. Maybe I could put a towel over it until he felt better lol

Not if you were drunk...nope.

Only if my SO were really sick..

When I was preggers, my son's father cleaned up my vomit twice, I was in the car once...and the other time, I couldn't make it to the bathroom.

Odd thing is, I didn't ask him. I was going to get it up myself, I was so shocked that he cleaned it up without hesitation.

I was probably shocked bc my mom would not clean up our vomit. Once we were about 10 or so we had to clean it up ourselves!

It depends on why. Is he repulsed by vomit- understandable; or his he angry with me for vomiting- unsympathetic.

He was single... but there was no attraction on my part. The BF stepped up on numerous occasions, but silly me was blinded by 'love'. :whyme:

If I'm carrying your kid, I feel like the least you can do is clean up my vomit, lol.

But I'm with the other ladies, if you're sick and dying, then sure. If you're just drunk...nah player, that's on you

Well I would be a bit annoyed if my SO didn't. But he has cleaned up my vomit before, and he didn't even get mad when some got on him

Maybe it is me but I don't see the problem to help your SO clean if they are sick. Drunk or not.

If it happens in a blue moon sure I would clean it. Especially to help them while they are Ill. It is the same with my friends. They have gotten sick before and I've cleaned after them as they have done for me when I've been drunk and sick. For this I am grateful.

It if us reoccurring and they are not appreciative of this then it would be an issue.

I was really upset. I thank you all for your input as I really needed to know if he was being a mean prick or if I was being a primadonna. I was sick once and I vomited all over myself and he did clean me up. I forgot about that. I hope he gets drunk one day and vomits, so i can pay him back, but it probably will never happen. He can hold his drink.

That's I why I remind myself when reading posts that...[self] it's NEVER the whole story! Now go kiss and make up...and vomit a lil' in his mouth :yep:

If it was me, and this was a result of me being white girl wasted... Lol, I wouldnt expect my man to clean it up... Now, if I am on death bed/ala crazy sick/ I would expect him to be there for me....
