I went. Glad I didnt purchase a ticket online (esp. with that extra $3 fee). I got there at 9:30 or so and the Will Call line was just as long as the purchasing tickets line. I got my armband before people in the other line. Then we all had to get into the SAME line to get in. Very silly. That line to get in was atleast a quater of a mile long.

I went specifically for BASK since their discount was unlike any other I can remember they've offered (30%). I checked out others hoping for decent discounts. There werent many. If I wasn't afraid that BASK would sell out I would have waited till Sunday afternoon to go to the show and get some better deals from vendors trying to empty stock.

I'll post a photo of my haul.

Never heard of BASK. Is this a new line? Are there any reviews already on LHCF? Have you used it before?

Went back for day two and was only gonna do the seminars/workshops. I don't know who I thought I was kidding as I spent...more than I was supposed to. I bought my armband online and didn't have a long wait at all. Guess we got there at good times. Had a good time overall. Can't wait to try the products I bought. I went to the "grow long hair faster" (or something like that) seminar and the instructor/presenter didn't teach me anything I didn't learn here. I guess not everyone is familiar with hair forums. The people I went with were like how do you know all this. I was like "I stay in the forums" LOL. I was disappointed there weren't more vendors with sample sizes as I have full sizes of products I've never tried before.

I went. I really didn't get that much stuff. I kinda regret not picking up some other items but no biggie, I can order online. I picked up some Uncle Funky's Daughter(the line was a mile long but it went kinda fast), a natural hair T Shirt, 3 pair of earrings, CocoCurls, this handmade leather and beaded bag from Kenya and I think that was all. Saw a few youtubers there and Kimberley Elise. I think the girl that plays on Hawthorne was there but I am not sure if that was her.

I went. The line was overwhelming... extended all the way outside, then a detour inside and line dispersed eventually into who
purchased their tickets online and who needed to buy them.
Next time I'll buy mine in person.
People were everywhere. I saw Lexi *sat behind her in an information session* and The 3 Natural sisters from YT.
The only vendors I wanted hit up were KBB and Oyin. Tons of freebies.
I had fun, I would go back again.

C'mon guys. You all can do better that this. Okay - Who was there? How were the prices? Any new vendors/products? Any give away bags? What was in them? Any samples? Were any vendors sold out? Any vendors giving out good discounts? You know that kind of reporting is needed. Please

The line was crazy. The only celeb I saw was Michael Eric Dyson walking around in the lobby while I was in line.

The prices were just okay. I wasn't familiar with BASK & I don't remember seeing them. I agree with a poster above that says they've outgrown their venue. I hope they do better next year.

Only got a few samples from T. Waajid & The Damn Salon. After the hot hike from the parking lot, the hour long wait in line & the 30 min wait in the ATM line, I was a little let down. The positive: all that hair porn under one roof!

Here's my haul:

1) I bought two sets of the Curls line since they were selling the entire line in one package for $20

2) I got the 3 for $25 deal from BASK.

3) Uncle Funky's Daughter was offering their entire product line for $65 so I picked that up. This was my most expensive purchase.

4) Henna Shop was selling Jamila henna sets with cassia and indigo for $20

5) Camille Rose 3 for $30 (soap, hair milk, and body lotion)

6) Shea 3 for $20 (African Black Soap, Sea Salt Scrub, and Hair Soufflé)

7) Design Essentials Naturals set for my mom

And tons of samples!!!
