Hey Gang…

I've been MIA for a minute, though I'm sure no one noticed!

So, question. I've decided to get back on a JBCO kick, but I wanna know if it will darken my hair tint. I've got that cool red-from-henna tint going on and I really like it. But will JBCO affect it? If it does, no real biggie, as I've missed my castor oil very much. But I'm just wondering.

No. Well it doesn't for me. Just to be sure though you can do DC's with honey and whatnot as honey has been known to lighten hair. Either that or thin it out with a lighter oil or product. I only add JBCO to my ends, edges and nape though. I use the Extra Dark version.

no and jbco stinks and is very thick so you will want to dilute it with other oils.

Thanks guys! I don't mind the smell, I only use it in my DCs. I miss the softness that it gave my hair. Well good, I get to keep my red tint!

It does darken some people's hair. I've read it long ago in The Long Hair Community.
