Wigging: APL and beyond

Any APL or longer ladies wearing wigs the majority of the time? Im looking for a wig but I have a hard time finding one that fits both my hair (thick APL) and my head (big). Any suggestions???

cherrynicole, I have worn wigs (at different stages of my own hair when it was APL-Tailbone). The secret is your beehive cornrows to your natural hair that will flatten your hair to avoid the bulk look. I wear a lot of short wigs

I wore pigtails or mini braids under my wig. For the pigtails, I would braid my hair starting at the top and braid down and then bobby pin the sides down. My hair was bsb/bsl at the time.

I am wearing a sewn down FLW right now .....The key s to make your hair as FLAT as possible.....i have two-strand twists cornrowed underneathe.......yes i said two-strand twists cornrowed ......I have been a straight weave/wig diva lately!!!
