Sorry guys... I don't do pictures online. The nature of my work makes that inadvisable.

Before i went natural back in 2010 I did the SAME EXACT THING!! But its okay... You know better for next time ... Just dont relax ur hair no mo! Lol

Ugh, hair boredom. Those urges are crazy. I have the same problem with my bangs. I've taken to putting a note on my bathroom mirror. "You will not cut your bangs!" Seriously, it's like I get possessed or something.

UPDATE:

If I need any incentive not to do this again... I have major breakage. Right now I am covering it with the longer pieces of my hair, but I have no idea what it is going to look like as the broken part starts to grow in more--I am transitioning again. I may have no choice but to BC in six months depending on how that patch in the back looks. I hope I won't have too because I think a big part of my urge to relax was due to my not being able to handle my hair at that in-between stage. I really hope to transition for two years instead of six months this time.

The good part about it is that since I have already transitioned once, I already know which products work for my transitioning hair so I will not be forced to spend a small fortune finding the right products.

Didn't you guys love me enough to stop me?

One of you should have been able to know through osmosis what I was about to do!

One of you couldn't have flown down here and slapped it out of my hands before the damage was done?

Yes, 19 months, 2 weeks post relaxer and 13 months, 2 weeks post BC, I put a relaxer in my hair... and immediately regretted it... Now I have to start all over...

My mom is very happy though!

Wow! Oh no! I couldn't fight the urge and I'll never fight that feeling again. I prefer my hair relaxed.

I'm so sorry to hear this! Stay in here and find out how to stop the breakage. HHG!

:look: there, there, It's ok....... I bet it came out pretty?:yep:

Everybody cant go natural.... I'm testing my hair again......:ohwell:

I went almost 1 yr..... when I saw how much my hair had grown I thought "can I do this all way"? I don't know.... if I see a lot of breakage... who knows?

I know I can go 4 or 6 mos even 11 mos w/o... relaxer.. .....

I think I may be one of those people that can go a yr.....:lick: I use heat once per month

after a while
I have to have a hit:lol:.....
I'm hooked! I've been on the "creamy crack" since I was 13......:yep:

How short was your hair after the BC?

It was about 2 inches with MAJOR shrinkage. But it had grown considerably in the 13 months after the big chop.

That's one of the reasons I'd like to transition longer. Since I just got a new job in a more conservative environment, I really am going to need my hair to be long enough to put into a bun or I will have to be content with a TWA. That in-between stage looks a HAM!!!! Since I want to grow my hair long, I will have to transition in order to be able to have hair long enough to bun.
