I chopped from BSL to Pixie in January. I am back to top of shoulder now. My suggestion is to stay out of the mirror. Find someone to give you a cute short and sassy cut with lots of texture and style and wait it out. Unless I leaving the house my hair is wrapped in a silk scarf, I think that helps me not to think about it and keeps it protected so I retain my length. Be patient it will grow back even better this time .

Survive4; relax stay strong, I have a book I always fall back on "Acts Of Faith" by Iyanla Vanzant. This book has helped me through the rough of times. Wait to BC for just for clarity. When your mind is free and you can exhale with no regrets, ENJOY your moment. I am one of those people who shaves it off to start a new beginning. Do it though when your moment has come.

Please read that book, Day by day for inspiration. I have it sitting on my side table. (and a few more in various locations)
