There are men that have sex on the regular with their wives and STILL cheat. So I think it is a conscious choice on Tiger's part. Because he consciously seeked women out for sex. It was not one of those things where I just happened

Wow, it was doomed from the beginning.
He never gave his relationship a chance.

But then again, she more than likely saw the warning signs but was blinded by the fame and money. She's smart to set herself up financially and get out young but she could have killed herself staying with him this long.

Maybe the explanation Mars Venus author gave is more geared toward why men cheat opposed to why Tiger cheated.

Tiger DID have sex with a porn star on his bachelor party so he had no intention to stay faithful.

Many people like that rush which is why I believe that infidelity is more complex than we make it out to be. It's wrong (per society's standards), taboo, and sometimes dangerous...it gets the adrenaline pumping. Sometimes it ain't about love or respect or lack of...it's about the excitement of the risk.

I think this is why cheating is almost expected from successful men. They live for taking risks. They are never satisfied a lot of times. They separate love and sex. Some get to where they couldn't imagine doing freaky stuff with their wives, so they reserve that for the jumpoffs. It's crazy.

Only Tiger knows the answer to the reason he did what he did.

Won't even try to speculate. What I would like to know is what are the warning signs of this because he was very young so how can some other unsuspecting young lady who wishes to be married detect the warning signs so that she is able to tell this is the type of person a man may be.

When they are older you have some idea because of their pattern of behavior but when they are this young and don't have a real dating history how can you tell?

1) He’s Convinced you’re a Cheater --- a guilty conscious will play tricks on you, he you're doing it he doesnt feel as bad

2) He’s a Little too Mysterious - my ex-boyfriend was super mysterious, always hiding his computer screen

3) He Knows a lot of Women…and Makes Friends with them Easily - I'm not too fond of guys with alot of female friends

4) He Seems to be Compensating - Insecurity will drive you to validity.

5) He’s Always at Work - Depends IMO.

6) Your Friends Drop Hints - Friends often see what you can not

Why ask why? Really? How about cause he's a douchebag? Some women really truly seem to see themselves as mortals and men as gods. When some misfortune or pestilence comes in their "relationship" they ask themselves how they brought wrath down upon themselves and immediately begin preparing the sacrifices and prostrating themselves.

I think it's because he has no self esteem and self respect. Anyone that respects themselves wouldn't do anything like that.
