BostonMaria, I am just realizing that, Lol... With this blow out/flat iron, the curls vanish almost immediately... Been debating cutting...

AnjelLuvsUBabe maybe I'm confusing you with another member but I thought you had already done the BC.

BTW I think your hair looks fine. It looks healthy and thick, which is a great thing! You're treating your hair like relaxed hair, but it probably just needs a different type of treatment.

FOR ME what worked while I transitioned was doing rollersets (blow drying helps too) and flatironing my hair so the roots would match the natural hair. In the summer this may be prove to be difficult because of the humidity. I say leave it alone and don't fuss with it too much.

Im here at almost 18wks post.. even at this point it really takes alot of time and patience to fool with this head! Im determined to stay with it and drive my buddies here on the board batty while doing it!!

I understand your frustration, I haven't relaxed in 28 weeks and I am getting to know my natural hair and I am luvin it! It was difficult for me to deal with 2 textures in the summer. This is why I installed a kinky curly hair weave.
