I'm located in Dallas. I just found this out so we're suppose to talk more about the price tomorrow as I already told her about the price at Salon R Us. Tomorrow I'm gonna start low and work my way up. I also want to get a sample or go take a look at it before I go any further.

Thanks for going to check it out; I hope it's worth the excitement you have generated...I've been holding back on the purchase from SRU.

OMG! Im not only interested. Im BUYING one! LOL. Im in Douglasville, so if its in dallas........... OH FA SHIZZLE MY NIZZLE,lol Im pickin it up TODAY!! Let us know when u've got the price! woo hoo! Thanks so much!

For those of us who speak some Chinese and are bad enough to make an international purchase, it appears that a basic hair steamer from a manufacturer in China can cost as little as $25-$40. Higher end models made with better materials seem to go for $60 to $70.

This company also seems to be the supplier for the SRU model. Thanks to LHCF, they appear to have depleted their stock of that model right now. LOL

If there's not enough to go around in this current deal, would anyone be interested in dealing directly with the manufacturer?

OP...are you in Dallas, GA or Dallas, TX?? I'm interested in getting a steamer if there are GA. In TX...not so much. Shipping is going to be ridiculous.

I'm interested also, I just picked up a table top one, but would love to get a stand steamer if the price is wright
