Wow, y'all are coming out of the woodwork. Qtslim I never knew you were naija. I love your hair and its MBL??!! Wow!!!

Nigerian women are some of the most Stunning women on the planet. Been there saw it up close and Personal Yoruba Ibo, Ibibiom Hausa, Fulani EVERYWHERE was beauty and the way you tie you Geles are amazing also and for the women there that dont' perm their hair it is THICK and luscious. And I loved to see the little girls with the black strings in their hair and when it is taken out it looks like it was pressed with a hot comb cause it darn near bone straight.

Lagos is FAST FAST FAST. If you can survive in Lagos New York is Child's Play for real

I will absolutely let you know :yep: It's supposed to be late next year according to her (...and no, I won't mind lol).

I have been back twice since I left (I was around 2, my parents brought me back after having me in the States...still don't know how they pulled that off). I was supposed to go back in Feburary for my grandmother funeral...but plans fell through.

:lachen: I tune out my mum too! You can only ignore so much though!

I told her last week that I was NEVER getting married...she was sooo mad, darn near had a heartattack! She made me promise never to say that again

My father tried to arrange my marriage. I was 22 and the man was a 32 year old minister in Michigan *shudders*

Are there pics of your wedding?

That sounds all too familiar to me! Lol. My Aunt tried to set me up with her 36 year old nephew. I was barely 21 o.o

And the "When will you have kids?!" thing reminds me of this movie with Patience Ozokwor and Stephanie Okereke... I forgot the name. Let's hope none of your mothers do as Mama G did? For those who haven't seen the movie, Mama G was impatiently waiting for a grandchild, but her son, the husband, couldn't get her daughter-in-law pregnant, so she forced her daughter-in-law to sleep with her husband's brother, aka, the brother-in-law o.o

Lol.
