>>Quetsion does your pubic hair grey also? (Not asking anyone directly just a general question) <<

Hope this isn't TMI, but since you asked, I am 39 and have a LOT of gray hairs down there. But I have no gray on my head, and my parents are in their sixties and they have very little gray too. Go figure. At this rate I will be all gray down there in a few years (my husband thinks they look cute).

Bumping 'cause I have a patch of white hairs "down there" and it is really bothering me. Really, like I want to almost dye them or something.

They (about 10 hairs) just seemed to spring up overnight in one little patch. Could this be some sign of a health problem? I thought "down there" went gray/white later in life - I'm 29. Help! /images/graemlins/covereyes.gif

I used to pull them out...now there are too many to pull.
I thought about rinsing with rosemary, or using henna. Now I am at peace with them. That doesnt mean I wont color them down the line...but right now they dont bother me.

I like what one of my Fotki friends wrote about grey hairs:

"My hair dresser told she found some grey hairs. I stopped going to her!"

I'm 27 and I haven't seen any so far.....but my fiance is salt and pepper and he's 31....sometimes I think I'm dating Santa Claus :0) I think I'll color my grays when they grow in...I'll leave the gray to my fiance.

This reminds me of that episode of Sex and the City where the character noticed grey hairs coming in "down there" and decided to dye the hair because she didn't want her young lover to see it. It accidentally turned out bright red, like a clown! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif After she screamed and showed her girlfriend what happened, she decided to just shave all of it off.
I wonder if there is information available about what to do when the gray hairs start showing up "down there". /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif

Me too /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif I've had mine since I was 12. I've basicly learned to live with it. My mom has a "skunk stipe" down the middle of her head, my aunt is completely salt and pepper (it's beautiful)my cousins, all the females in my family grey prematurely. Mine is becoming more visible as I age(only 29), right in the middle of my head to the crown, i've tried coloring it, but for some reason, it still shows up and show out!...so oh well.. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif my granny (who's 87) told me to stop trying to cover it and be proud, i guess i'll take her advice.

**To answer your question. Yes mine do, as well as everyone else, eventually. I use to be a CNA, my primary job was cleaning older people bottoms, I saw plenty of grey pubs, male and female. Just a fact of life..just your life clock ticking...

Ha ha ha...foolish words little girl!

I got my first one last month. I was freaked out but it isn't so bad. And yes, those suckers are strong like wire. I heard somewhere that you should leave your head alone until it is at least 25% Gray cuz before that it jsut ins't noticeable. So I will deal with this in 5 or so years.

I have grays all over the place I need to do something about it because my mom was 50% gray at 30 years old and I am 25! THe odd thing about my grays are that they come in ring morole (sp?) colors, so literally I will have the root of my hair is black then a grey chunk, then a black chunk again and then a grey...and so on! It's weird! I asked my stylist if this was normal and he said yes it was, it's stressing me out! which is gonna give me even more grey hairs /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif

Haha! I remember getting my first grey hair in my 20's and thinking "oh, isn't that cute!" Now at 37 the novelty has long since worn off and I cover those bad boys!

That's how I felt. I got one about age 30 and then another at 32. So I have 2 now and I try and color it. One thing about grey hairs...they are hard to color. The 2 I have are right in front too /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

i like this thread. sometimes i feel so self-conscious about my gray hair. i think it looks the best when it is all gray/white

I was born with gray hairs here and there on my head. I do not plan on putting in colour. I have grown to accept them as part of me but if they start bothering me, I'll pluck them out!

I saw my first gray hair when I was 28. I cut it once, twice, and then when it came back the third time I decided to leave it alone. I figured that stressing myself out over it wasn't going to make it go away. More grays popped out over time, but for most part my hair is has a long way to go before it will be salt-and-pepper colored. And I'm turning 40 next month.

I am 46 and am loving my gray hairs. I love the way they sparkle in the sun. /images/graemlins/smile.gif They make a nice contrast. Although you can only see them when my hair is parted on the right side. I have been letting my color grow out. I use semipermanent color after relaxing, and I love the highlights the gray picks up.

The unfortunate part is that the greys are died hard. They stick with you through thick and thin. When you take your vitamins and do your regimen to increase your overall hair length, these bad-boys, shine through PROUD and TALL. You know what, if none of your hair grows, the grey will. That's who we need to be getting some hair growing tips from...the greys...they are absolutely invincible!!! They don't split, break, or get damaged.

To make matters, your co-workers look at your hair, mine are in the front, while they're talking to YOU. Please don't remind me, thank you very much!

Anyway, right after I get a touch-up, I get a color rinse. Oh, and I never even thought about dying hair any where "else". /images/graemlins/blush.gif Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

I've had greys since I was 20 and I just turned 37. At first I left them alone or plucked out the ones right in front because there was only a few, but now they have invaded all over my head, I for sure color them (well, I color anyways, but more diligent the last few years because of the greys). I equate greys with old ladies and I don't feel old and feel like the greys don't represent me at this point, so away they go! Well, I'm not dyeing right now cause I braided my hair again, but trust me when I decided to take the braids out, there will be a hair dye arsenal sitting in the bathroom waiting to attack!
Oh, I do have one grey hair down there- don't know what it wants, it's just the one but I don't think much about it because I am tightly trimmed and shaved so it doesn't show. I know it's there, though..
Oh yeah I have 2 in my eyebrow. It's weird because I can run my finger across my brow and feel there is a hair (they are at the end between the eyes) but not see it. It's like it's clear even when I pluck it I can't see it without a light on it.

I remember the white hairs were fun when they just came in. Nowadays, my hair is about 25-30 % and it's not funny anymore. I have to color every 2-3 months. No way I'm going grey! No way !!! /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
