Thanks for all the nice comments ladies. Robin at Too Groovy did my hair. She performed a wash/condition, steam treatment, added some type of conditioner that enhances your natural color, and my roots were blown with a low heat dryer and ironed with one high performance flat iron.

Wowwww WhipEffectz1:eek: !!!!!! your hair look great girl:D :) :p I thought it was still relaxed you fooled me  i thought it was a domenican blowout. i did not know a flat iron could get your hair so bouncy light like that! it really look awsome girl. Do you by any chance remember what brand of flat iron she used on your head please????? inquiring minds wanna know lol:D

Congrats on your big chop! They did a nice cut and shape for you! Have fun with your natural hair! ;)

Your hair is very lovely...Congrats on taking the plunge and chopping...enjoy your natural hair!

I've been waiting for these pics! :) Your hair looks awesome! :D She did a great job. Looks like I'll be coughing up the dough for a hair session. ;)

wow, BEAUTIFUL sweetie....congrats on your BC! I am crossing my fingers that I get a chance to visit Robin before the year is out. Again,

congrats your hair looks beautiful.. your also much braver than i am, i really want to bc but im scared of how shorter hair will look on me.

Congrats on your BC! Your hair is gorgeous. I'll definitely have to save up my pennies to make a trip to Robin in the future.

Thanks ladies for all the gracious compliments. I'm not that interested in straightening my hair often so I'm going to keep my hair in braids because I am on the go quite a bit. I think I will wear my hair curly or straight once my hair grows a little more as I think short hair doesn't become me. I will post pics of my puff when I take my braids down. Again, thanks for the inspiration and insight into accepting my god given texture. Its not the most manageable hair for it is a bit coarse but its me. I am looking forward to seeing what natural hair has in store for me!

It's looks so soft and silky. Do folks think you are wearing a wig? I bet it looks cute on you.

Thanks! I found people trying to touch it and asking questions for the first two weeks. I don't like the style too much because I have such a big head. lol!

Wow, I'm just finding this thread. Congrats! I would absolutely have loved to have this style if my hair were shorter, but I'm not going to cut it anymore. I haven't been to Too Groovy since my transition, but whenever I want a straight style I'll be there and then be able to measure my length, too. I always love the results.

Your hair is beautiful. If I thought my natural hair could do that, I'd seriously consider transitioning.
