Hey Ladies... Can you use these products on relaxed hair? If so which one do you recommend and where can I purchase these products? Thanks in advance!

I voted for the burdock root butter cream. It provides so much moisture(I'm relaxed btw) I love the amla heavy cream as well but i use it for sealing; It doesn't contain any water so it doesn't provide that much moisture unless I apply it to wet hair, but it is still a great product...

I'm relaxed, and I absolutely love these products. You can purchase them on their website qhemetbiologics.com. I use the burdock creme on the lenght of my hair, and the heavy cream on my ends and ng. HTH

This is exactly what I do!

I use both.

I love some Qhemet. Them prices and shipping be killing me.

The best you're going to get is 10%, from what I've seen so far...and it's like once a year. She doesn't really have big sales, because I don't think she really has to!

I used to be in love with Qhemet Heavy Cream and used to use gobs of it even I was getting some pimples that I never had before from the stuff getting on to my pillowcases. Then I had a revelation about my hair. Despite the volume and texture, it was fine. I was losing strands of hair when I would moisturise. Then I started reading on the boards that women with fine hair have to be careful not to over moisturise and use light products. Since that revelation last month I switched to the Burdook Butter Root (I purchased like so much Qhemet stuff before moving to Senegal from the States) the problem is non-existent along with now going back to washing my hair in sections. So, burdock butter root all the way.

Best,
Almond Eyes

I love the Amla & heavy cream. I haven't been able to find anything to come close. I hate that she reformulated the detangler as I had to find a replacement though...

It s so expensive....is it really worth the price and does it even last that long??? I want to try to recreate these products myself!!! :spinning::grin:

ya know i just can not for the life of me remember what i did with my qhemet products. i dont think i threw away the burdock root butter cream so i should still have that. but i have no idea what i did with the honey balm.

My Amla and Olive Heavy Creme is very concentrated and thick. I am heavy handed when it comes to product, and I only need a quarter size for my hair.

i found my burdock root butter cream today and it looks like its never been touched. i must have thrown away the honey balm.

IMO , it is totally worth it. It also lasts a long time, especialy the Amla and olive creme. I have had mine for a long time, I used it all through the winter and I still have more than half left.
For the summer I am using the burdock root butter.

I love the Alma and Olive heavy cream & Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. I mix then together for max moisture.

I use both of the following simultaneously;
- Qhemet Biologics’s Burdock Root Butter Cream
- Qhemet Biologics’s Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm
The moisturizing combination of the two is fantastic, my hair feel’s soo soft and hydrated afterwards :lick:

1) Amla & Olive Heavy Cream
2) Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee

I love those 2 products. The AOHC is great for softness and sealing. The CTDG is great for detangling. I can see myself with these 2 products in my hair care arsenal for a long time :yep:

I now can't imagine "hair life" without the Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm. At first I only used it on wash-n-gos. However another member mentioned they use it on dry straight hair. I tried it and it works so wel that Burdock Root Butter Cream in now in second place.

I'm typing this while rollersetting. I used a quarter size each of detangling ghee and Olive and Honey to rolerset. My hair comes out very moisturized instead of crispy dry as it has in the past. Using the two products on rolersets require extra time under the dryer though.

Well after knowing about these products for alongtime I'm finally glad I got around to buying some yesterday. I wanted to buy one of each moisturizers but the store I went to didn't have much left so I brought the Burdock Root Butter Cream and the Cocoa Tree Detangling one and I'm soooo mad at myself for not trying Qhemet products sooner. Out of all the bandwagons I jump on for products I don't know why I missed this one. Anyway, I LOVE this two products! My hair has NEVER felt this soft and hydrated from any product! I usually have to moisturize 1-2x daily and it's been a day since using and my hair is still soft and moisturized. This is definitely a keeper.

They are fantastic products! Thanks for the tips, I shall definitely try them next time and I hope your rollersets turn out wonderfully!

I have been using the coco tree detangling ghee as my moisturizer on my relaxed hair. I tried to use it as a detangler for my daughter's hair but it did not work well on her hair. But for my hair I love the Coco Tree.

I also have the amla heavy cream and budock cream which worked great when I have alot fo new growth.

For my 3b/3c medium-fine strands of hair: Burdock Root Buttercream no doubt...that stuff is awesome, for real:yep:
