Can I get a vote on which one smells the best? I'm rebuking my pjism so I'm only going to purchase ONE, instead of 3 like I was contemplating. Since they are all so great, which has the best aroma?

In my opinion, the Burdock root-butter creme and then the Heavy Cream.

I don't care for the scent of the Olive Cream Detangler, but I love the product so I deal with it. It does not smell bad, but it instead, earthy. It is okay, but just not comparable in sent to the Burdock root-butter creme.

Coconut. The others smell funny in heat so when your head sweat or after a couple of days without washing ,they can make your hair smell very dirty and sulfuric.

Yeah, that smell is the good stuff that helps my hair to grow!! I love the smell of sulfur, it helps my hair grow and it keeps my skin clear. Sulfur is an element of beauty for me.... but :look: it does smell funny  It reminds me of my dad, he used to use Sulfur 8

Hi Ladies :hiya2::heart:

None of the moisturizers contain yellow sulfur aka flowers of sulfur (which is in sulfur 8) so perhaps it's the botanicals or the castor or olive oil you're smelling? Besides the Olive Cream and Olive & Honey which smells like honey, they all have a light citrusy scent. Or maybe the scent is clashing with the scents of the other products you're using?

Hi Atlanta. Yep, the MSM in them does promote hair growth. :)

I am lovin' the Burdock Root Butter Cream. I've used the HC in the past and it really does work very well too. I prefer the BRBC because it's less oily...and boy, does it make my hair soft!

I like the smell of all 3 samples that I have (burdock, heavy cream, and olive detangler). I think the olive detangler smells more coconutty and earthy/natural while the others are more obviously perfumed, but not in a heavy alcohol way. I think the burdock and the heavy cream smell pretty similar.

I am an Olive and Honey Balm junky. I love that stuff. The smell and texture are just :lick: for my hair.

yessssssssss!! the olive and honey balm has a very pleasing fragrance and so does the alma oil pomade - this smells like lemons :lick:

Why doesn't my full size jar have a special smell? When you order do you indicate a smell? I didn't notice that.

what cha get maibaby? you could have posted it but my old brain doesn't remember.

i know the olive honey balm smells like honey - bigtime (you can even taste it :look::blush:). qhem did not skimp on the ingredients :lick:.

Last year, I had the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream. This time around, I bought the Burdock Root Butter Cream. Neither smell like sulfur or coconut.

I have now tried the Burdock root and it is very very moisturizing. Next is the heavy cream. I will let you guys now.

I think another poster said it best:
Spring/Summer-Burdock Root Creme
Fall/Winter-Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm

Amla heavy cream is hard to work with for me. It felt like it was just sitting on top of my hair and didn't absorb. It's hard for me to get this product to work correctly.

It was really disappointing after hearing all of the reviews about it. I was surprised it was too heavy for me because I feel like I have extremely dry hair, and water based moisturizers usually don't work for me. I may try the burdock root buttercream.

Burdock Root - up to 4-5 weeks post relaxer
Alma - 5 -12 weeks post relaxer
Olive and Honey - 8 weeks and beyond, if I ever transition this will be my staple

i don't even know if i posted before, but i really like the heavy cream and burdock cream. the first is heavy and good for the cold season and the other one is light. i use both. i would just get the sample pack first and try each one and go from there.

My heart belongs to to Amla & Olive Heavy Cream. It's extremely concentrated and heaven for dry ends.

I also use the Olive Cream Detangler on occasion and have a sample of the Burdock Butter Cream, they are both very good but the Amla & Olive is my favorite.
I love the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream too. It's my fave. :lick:

I didnt vote because the poll would only let me pick one. I love the honey and olive moisturize and the olive oil cream detangler these are both essential to my hair care. The Burdock root is good in a pinch if the olive oil detangler isnt availible and the alma and heavy cream is way too heavy for my fine hair. The sider butter is a little better on fine hair than the alma and heavy cream but still heavy.

you can't go wrong with her moisturizers..
like wildchild said the AOHC is great for winter, for overnight treatment, for ends
the burdock is light and also nice with olive honey hydrating balm..
i personally layer the ohhb with either the aohc or the burdock

the new cocoa tree detangler ghee is amazing:lick:

Would the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream be good for softening new growth? I've yet to find a good, thick moisturizer for my first relaxer stretch and it's crunch time! (no pun intended)

I am also an avid Qhemet person. The line is my staple for life. I have been using the products for quite some time and it is only now that I am getting the hang of how to make them work for my natural hair which is many textures and extremely dry. I liked the sidr butter but that was discontinued and replaced with the Burdock. I prefer the Heavy Cream though which was too heavy for my liking in the beginning but I guess that's the case as we approach the winter that my hair would need something heavier and concentrated. I like the Olive Oil and Honey Balm for Sealing but sometimes it gets to weighty and greasy so I'll alternate with natural carrier oils. My hair likes the sulfer and the MSM which improves the texture of the hair. As for the Olive Oil detangler, I was not a big fan of that but that has been discontinued and replaced with the Cocoa detangling Ghee which we discussed about two weeks ago and the raves were good. I have used both greases, I like them but not a big necessity for me.

Best,
Almond Eyes

I came in thread to see if anyone wrote a review for the new detangler... was that in a separate thread? I liked the Olive Oil Detangler so if the new one is better, oh my! I need to place an order :lick:
