i've tried the intensive moisturizing conditioner that's part of the r&n line and it worked TONS better for me than the hydrating curls. the hydrating curls has a lot of liquid silicone in it that just tore my sensitive head up and had me shedding more hair than necessary ! ! ! plus, the intensive moisturizing conditioner has jojoba and coconut oils in it, signs of a true keeper.

To me the smooth and sleek and hydrating curls look the same, smell the same, have the same ingredients, but don't work the same. The Hydrating curls gives me slip and moisture where the Smooth and sleek gave me neither. I ended up mixing the smooth and sleek with some other conditioners, adding water, olive oil and using it as a Conditioner wash.

Hmm... interesting. I just went back and looked at them again. They smell similar, but the S&S has a much stronger, more perfumed scent than the HC.

Once my hair was dry, I found that the HC did impart more moisture than the S&S. I skipped a day of CO washes because of this. It was great! But, the S&S definitely gave me more slip. I guess it reaffirms that everyone should try out each product on their own hair type to see what works for them. It has made me very interested to try the R&N line. ...but not until I use up these other 2 bottles!!

Woe! Are you serious. I buy that at walmart for 3 or 4 bucks.
Anyway, I really like the relaxed and natural too and I used it as a leave in yesterday because I didn't have anything else. I was worried because of the cones. I thought that it would make my hair dry and feel dry, but to my surprise, I rollerset (my hair being very easy to comb by the way) and then when it dried, it was VERY soft, softer than normal. I wonder if there is any danger in using this as a leave in. Anybody know?
