You must be talking about people with healthy hair, If so I say Gabrielle Union and Kenya Moore. I know there's a lot more, and also Nia Long.

I've never really seen Gabrielle Union's hair....she usually wears extensions,weave, wigs, etc. doesn't she?

I'm not really sure how much of it is her hair, but the part that looks like her hair seems really healthy. There's some people with weaves and extensions and their hair doesn't seem like it's healthy. People like Mary J Blige, Vivica Fox and so on.

She does. She buys her hair from Extensions-Plus. But her hair looks healthy none the less. Most of these ladies mentioned wear pieces if not whole weaves from time to time. I know Queen Latifah wears clip in pieces when the job requires it. Other than that she likes to wear her own hair which is lovely.

The term "GOOD HAIR" has always bothered me. I'm my opinion there is no such thing as "good hair." One can have pretty hair or their hair may look nice, but that doesn't make one's hair good. I'm always bothered when people relate to curly, straight, or wavy hair has being good. These hair types may sometimes be easier to manage than kinkier hair types, but that doesn't make those hair types good or kinkier hair types bad. I think that the term "good hair" comes from miseducation.I went to a freind's family reunion and I wore my hair wavy. ( I have 4a hair, but when I wear braidouts or use a crimpping iron, it often looks like I have type 2 or 3 hair.) At the reunion this little girl came up to me, she had to be about 5 or 6, and she said "Ooh you have some good hair." I know this was a complement, however I got extermely offended. Not at her, but towards whoever taught her that term. I spoke with this little girl any explained to her that no hair is good hair. I said that you make think that someones hair is pretty or looks nice and if that the case then you should tell them that their hair looks pretty or nice. I know it may not be my business, but anytime I hear people use this term I try to educate them on the subject. SORRY FOR GOING ON AND ON ABOUT THIS!! I just had to express my thoughts. IMO.........THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "GOOD HAIR", BUT GOOD HAIR DAYS REALLY DO EXIST (reguarless of your hair type)!

ITA! I'm always on my mother about saying that and she told me recently that she's trying to stop saying that. That term irks the hell out of me.
