Where to buy good weave hair

I did a search and am coming up with only indianhairs.com. I am going to ask for hair $$ for Christmas, so I'd like some ideas.
Pleeeeaaase list some sites were i can get weave hair. thanks!

What kind of hair do you want and how much are you willing to spend? Do you want hair that blends well with yours? If so, what is your hair type?

Sorry, I should have put that. I want dark brown. Straight. It doesn't have to blend because put about 95% of mine up, and what is left in the front straightens out pretty good. I would like hair that doesn't get dry and ratty after one washing. Any good site? Also i know it can be expensive and $100 is my limit!

I love the hair from hisandher.com, especially the Italian Mink. It looks almost exactly like black relaxed hair, and it looks as good on the third month as it does when I first put it in. It still looks good even after washing and conditioning. You can get two packs for $100 + shipping and handling.

Since you're interested in straight hair, you should check your local BSS for Sensationnel Goddess Remi. Their hair is great quality and 1 pack cost $49.99 so if you need 2 you spend $100 minus the S+H and waiting for delivery.


Another great quality is Bohyme. They sell it locally too in some areas, you'll have to do a zip code search to see where they sell it in your area. One pack costs an average $90 so that may be over your budget.

Here are my reviews:

Hisandher natural perm straight in the 50% mink is really nice but, the wefts are way too thick unless you get the hand tied ultra thin weft. It is one of my favorite brands.

Goddess Remy is too silky for me (I have thick 4a/b hair) but lasts well and curls well with the curling iron.

I recently tried Milky Way Yaki Perm and it was very good for a BSS hair. I made my own clip-on extensions with it and I have washed it 3-4 times and it has held up well w/o a lot of shedding. I do think the hair on the weft was not thick enough for what I wanted, but it is nice hair.

I bought a set of clip-ins from a lady(http://stores.ebay.com/Hair-Art_W0QQssPageNameZviQ3asibQ3astoreviewQQtZkm) that made them with hair from Cal Top Imports (ebay seller http://stores.ebay.com/CAL-TOP-IMPORTS_Yaky-Weaving-YAKY_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm). I love this hair!!! I have washed it many times and it air dried beautifully. After I realized that the clip-ons were made with Cal Top hair I search for the hair and found out that is really cheap!! I am surprised at the quality of this hair!! The only problem is that the Yaki only comes in 12" and shorter

Janet Remy is great hair, too. The packaging is in a flashy gold box, but it is great hair. It is a little silky, but very nice.


I have used so many, but these are the ones that stand out in my head.

Hey Henrilou, if you looking for dark brown straight hair but dont want to spend mad money you could look into Adorable hair i used their spanish wavy before its beautiful and the hair even though its not remy is a step better than bss hair but good for the budget u can use and reuse the hair for like 3-5 months and it stays nice it does not look fake and trust me i tried many bss hair and not even a month i would either look like a poodle or the scarecrow check their site they do have straight hair bone straight but they also have one call kinky afro that u can relax yourself over and over to get a freshly pressed look. i would have given you another company thats better than adorable for a little less and founded by the girl who used to work at adorable that i mostly used but they are in the bronx and they dont have a website and i see that u in the west coast. so if u want quality hair at a decent price and way better than bss check their site :

Thanks, ekomba and honey-do. I am still LOVING my weave. What a relief for now. I am actually going to talk a long drive out to his and hers. And I am headed to the adorable site now.
You know what I learned from this site? Take the weft and unfold it. (I mean lay it out on a table( that's covered w/newspaper or something) run crazy glue lightly along the stitch line. That will cut the shedding in HALF.
Anyway, Ima go look for some hair for next time.

Henrilou- Does the crazy glue make the wefts stiff? I have tried using clear polish and nail glue along the wefts to prevent shedding but that makes the wefts crunchy. TIA.
I may join your weaving challenge. How long do you leave your weaves in at a time.

Hey cutebajangirl. They dont have a website. it s very low key but many of my celebrity friends and hairstylists use it and introduced me to it a few years ago and whenever i do my weaves i used to go to them there 's also lugo's that my friends use. but this one is my best kept secret if i dont want to use remy but want to keep the hair for like 5-6months i always get compliments u can check pix with it in my fotki and second folder styles i rocked there i s apix me and hubby over a cake with one candle this a straight that they mix with another one to make it kind wavy a lil bit bouncy here is my pix http://public.fotki.com/ekomba/ekomba-1/lamont_ekay1.html .

No the crazy glue doesn't make them stiff. Apply it right on top of or just below the stitching. And you only have to do it about 10min. before you weave cuz it dries fast. Just a thin, thin line though. 1 tube of glue should do two packs of hair. I keep my weave in for 8-12 weeks depending on how its looking and my money situation. I always re-do the same day and this time I'll be taking pictures of my blowdried hair before she braids it up.

If you are looking for straight hair and u are not concerned about blending then I would try indianhairs.com. They have the best for the price on straight hair..

Also for reinforcing wefts... Try some vinyl glue... I got it from home depot It doesnt make the wefts hard like nail glue...
