In high school.

He liked me, but I wasn't feeling it then. After we graduated he seen my homegirl waking pass his house gave her his number told her to give it to me and we've been together ever since.
 
We met at the unemployment office ... back in January 2009, I went there to file for unemployment compensation... as I was leaving, he approached me. He works there.
 
Just a chance meeting at a convenience store. Never, ever thought I'd marry a man I met while pumping gas. :lol:
It just seems so strange/random.

I met DH at a club. Boring story, but it's ours.
 
I met him in college through a friend. We got to know each other through email, though (I didn't even know what he looked like at first), so I wasn't sure how to vote in the poll. If I could, I'd vote college and penpal. :yep:
 
Yep. Met my hubby online. Lavalife (or something like that).

Have no idea if it's still up and running (the site), but I snagged a goodie.

Well it was 2 parts. During an alumni weekend at my uni. First I saw him at this poetry reading but didn't speak really. Then we saw each other again that same night at a house party.

I met my ex at a concert and the one before that in sixth grade. :)

Similar story. We met in highschool, he liked me, I wasnt so sure if I felt the same way. I was a year ahead, graduated and went to college. The following year he graduated and went to the same college. Been together ever since....5 years :D
 
Through a friend...We were going to see and another old friend who was in the hospital but we stopped at the house first to check on the family. That's when I met his cousin. The rest was history.
 
Wow, seeing these results makes me feel less like a lame-o for being on online dating sites :lol: Looks like it's as good a place as any to meet someone :yep:
 
We met online 2 1/2 years ago....funny thing is he only lives 40 minutes away from me, so close and yet so far. We wouldn't have met if it had not been for the internet and me allowing my self to step out of my comfort zone.
 
On my phone, can't respond. But I met my SO on MySpace lol. We were both in a "group" for new students going to my undergraduate school.

4 years later (I was the slow one) we became a couple.

IME, the men at clubs are hella shady 95% of the time. One of my girl friends met a decent guy at a club, and they ended up dating for like 7ish months, it got pretty serious....by chance, he was a player for the Canadian Football League (he was American, though :lol:), but that was the only case of any of the dozens of guys me and my friends have met at clubs. That's a pretty bad ratio!
 
BTW, I didn't vote.....because I don't have a man. :lol: :lol: :lol: :blush:

Looking at these locations, though, they are random as hell! I find the idea of meeting your future husband while at a gas station or something kind of strange but in a cute way.
