Ok I don't know if OP is a troll, but I remember being equally uninformed when I joined LHCF. I had been taking care of my hair for years and relaxing, but I did not really know that NG was actual new hair. I also thought that that was just the area that need to be retouched because it had reverted. Keep in mind I also used to relax from root to tip every touch up.
