It does! I went to this African braid shop in ATL and I came out with my brains fried and looking like Chunlin. It hurt for about a week and it was heavy as heck. I don't know how many packs they put in my hair. I kept it in for about 3 months and it was still neat.So...does this pain apply to Senegalese twists as well? I'm looking to get some but my tolerance is lower now that I'm older. Tight puffs give me a headache now.
The one I went to in NOLA was much lighter and didn't hurt at all. I told them in advance to not pull my edges tight. She listened and I satisfied.
