Glaze by Elasta QP works well for my edges.

Elasta QP Glaze works wonders on my edges & my new growth.

I tried the S-Curl (in the blue & white bottle). But, it left my hair with a sticky, heavy coating. It didn't work for me.

this is infomative!:D I've never tried to stretch for more than 4 weeks. My hair is so uber thick, that I never comb my hair. I use a boar brush. When I fully relax in September, it will be the first time I'll be looking to stretch my relaxers. I'm hoping to start 6-8 week stretches. I'll see what happens down the road. Great thread!:woot: :notworthy

I harmed my hair last night :(
Im gonna relax this weekend..
DOnt think I can take another week

Ok, Im done trippin

What happened was I combed my hair and it was just coming out
and I attempted a braid out.. I have TOO much NG to be manipulating like that, so I just washed and used my special products and my hair is back nice and smoothly in my bun, and I will be doing the bun til next Saturday when I relax (an buy my new flat iron :D )

My first 12 week stretch :D

khandi, I think that's what I'm doing, manipulating my newgrowth too much. It just makes me get fed up and hate all products.

Whoa!!! I thought braidouts/twistouts were widely suggested around here during transition (or when you have both natural and relaxed textures)?? So, that's not a good idea???

Its fine to do, II had too much manipulation.. with the braidout and combing..
EIther or is the way to do it because they suggest you dont comb alot when you are stretching ..
