What's your thoughts onE'tae caramel treatment??

My daughter who has grown her hair now to waist length (she's 24) wants me to buy her for Christmas the the whole E'tae caramel treatment. I don't know too much about it other then some of the Youtube reviews but the idea of putting something in her hair that took her the last four years to grow terrifies me.
Has anyone bought it and if so what were your results? Yes I read you can make your own but she wants to try this line for Christmas.

Make it yourself because its very expensive. There are quite a few recipes floating around online.
