What's your staple(s) and why?

-Coconut oil. Used for sealing after cowashes. Contains moisturizing properties and is a natural protein.
-VO5/Suave Conditioners. For my daily cowashes. Are also used as leave-in's after cowashes.
-ORS Packs. Used for weekly DC sessions.

My staples are

Avocado butter and Hempseed butter- I use these to seal in the moisture i found out about these in the archives when i was lurking:detective:. These leave my hair very soft for a few days. Much love to the ladies who started those threads.

I want some samples of somethings so i might be back to add on.

Wen Fig Conditioner (does my hair like no other Lol!)
Ors replenshing conditioner(smells Wonderful & takes care of business)
Qhemet root burdock butter & Qhemet Olive & Honey balm

That ORS is the bomb isn't it? I wandered far away from it during my stretch of PJness. I came back to it with 5 inches of new natural hair and LOVED it...to think I was forsaking it because I was afraid of protein :giggle:

ORS pack and Aveda Damage remedy both are extremely good deep condioners

Keracare humecto, pantene relaxed and natural, sally's megasilk moisturising conditioner, neutrogena TM mask, Joico moisuture mask all great deep moisturising conditioners.

Avocado butter, raw Shea butter, mango butter tahiti manoi (sp) aloe butter, olive butter all to make butter- keeps hair soft and moiturised

Ayurvedic stuff eg neem, shikakai, aritha, amla keeps my hair in great condition and strengthens it and henna to colour and treat.

glycerin, honeyquat and alo ver gel keeps hair moisturised when mixed with other stuff

Silk amino acid, ACV, salt, baking soda- improves overall health of my hair

Oils-olive, almond, avocado, amla, coconut, neem, shikakai, castor -used as overnight treatment and as sealers.

Gels and curl definers- IC fantasia, noodle head, miss jessies, curls, Tigi- used to deifne curls and slick hair back

and leave in to help keep hair moisturised-hawaiian silky, MOP, redken and noctenegist by kerastase
Wow this is quite a list and its all fabulous stuff!!

I love your coilys!!

ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo- for clarifying
CON (green label)
Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol Moisturizing Treatment, UBH Deep Condish
(Aphogee 2 Min Reconstructor, Aphogee Keratin and Green Tea Spray for protein)
Aussie Moist for co-wash
ACV rinse
GVP version of Paul Mitchell The Conditioner Leave-in
Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine
HE LTR- daily moisturizer (lurve it!)
Jojoba oil- to seal (gotta love it)

Aubrey Organic's Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner-Because it leaves my hair smelling delicious and feeling ultra soft, smooth, and looking shiny.

Aubrey Organic's GPB-Best protein treatment I ever had, even better than that Aphogee treatment that stinks, in my opinion .

Honorable Mention:

Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner-I love this conditioner...before they changed the ingredients. The old ingredients were :lick:. The new one has some questionable ones :ohwell:. As you may have guessed I really like for my hair products to be as natural as possible, and I don't dig ingredient changes that make the ingredients lower in quality. But that was the best rinse-out condish I ever used :yep:.

It took me a while to find my staples, but thanks to the lovely LHCF divas, I think I'm set.

Elasta QP creme condition shampoo (no SLS and CHEAP)
ORS Pak (I love this stuff, tha bomb!)
Elasta QP Intense
Chi Silk Infusion

Elasta QP Mango Butter (for NG and edges)
Elasta QP Oil Recovery Moisturizer

Nexxus Emergencee (protein treatment first wash after relaxer)
Redken Cleansing Cream (chelate/clarify shampoo)

These items are have helped strengthen my hair so I could retain length. Keeps my hair moisturized and healthy.

I love Carol's Daughter Tui Hair Oil. It is super light and smells amazing.

I feel like I should have more staples but I think I'm still figuring out which products are working for my hair. I switch between Aveda's Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner, and my Nexxus Therappe Shampoo most often. Nexxus Headress Leave in Conditioner is a must for me as well.

Just discovered coconut oil yesterday...Love it! I can't wait to try it out on as a pre-poo, and other suggestions I've received from the board!

pre-poo: something with coconut oil right now it's dabur vatika oil
shampoo: I've got so many to finish but I'm sticking with elasta QP creme conditioning shampoo (right now with NG it is better than a LOT of my conditioners at getting me detangled)
leave in: glycerine (best non-greasy bling and moisture)

Aubrey Organics HSR and QB OHHB: It's getting through this acid winter in Jersey.
Started using Parachute coconut oil on my scalp and to pre-poo/seal. Love it.
Trying to use as few products as possible.
So:
Prepoo-Parachute
Shampoo-CV Bars
Co-wash-TJ Nourish
Deep Condition-Mix of egg, olive oil, honey, with old didn't really work for me Giovanni
conditioner as a base
Styling-AO HSR/QB OHHB or AO WC/Coconut oil

The less I am using, the better my hair looks. Finally...
